Today's Monday Motivation comes from Jesus himself.
In Matthew 7:12 he said to "do to others what you want them to do to you".
Recognize that each person has their love language, learn it, and treat them from that perspective. Just like you would hope others would do for you.

I invited Tanya onto the show to talk about how to go to college debt free.
Often referred to as the "Media Darling" -- I am a former investigative news journalist turned financial and business development strategist. I am a licensed financial professional.
I created 6-figure revenues in my first 6 months, as an entrepreneur (and single mom) and then multiple 6-figures in revenues within my first three years.
My students span 12 countries and have generated over $7.4 million in free publicity appearing in the New York Times, Forbes, Huffington Post, and on CNN, BBC World News, and FOX — to name a few.
Here's a few of the questions we touched on in the show:How do you select the right college, to maximize your chances of a scholarship / full ride
What other things do you need to consider / research
How do you minimize your, and your parent's assets, so that you receive maximum FASFA
How do you enter the 0% tax bracket and start to build wealth, as soon as you're working
How do you become your own bank, so you can fund your own dreams
What happens if you take this advice, but decide NOT to go to college?
What else can you use your money on? (VERY different to the College 529 Savings Plans)

Today's key comes from Christina Fong:
You have a goal but doubt you can achieve it. You think dreams come true for others but are not possible for you. Even if you have some faith that it might happen, you aren’t sure where to start. It begins by working backwards from the results you desire. Imagine yourself adopting the identity of a person who could get those results. Ask yourself, “Who is the type of person that could get the outcome I want?” Identify the characteristics, qualities and habits of someone who would achieve your desired result and incorporate them into daily life now. Learn to operate like some who has your goal. Wake up every morning and embody the person you are on the road to becoming - your future self. Some questions to ask yourself to get your wheels turning:1. What are my interests?
Think about the hobbies you have, how and where you enjoy spending your time. Do you like spending time with people, animals, computers, books? What activities would you miss the most if they were taken away from you?
2. What are my skills?
Think of the hard skills and soft skills you've acquired in life.
3. What are my strengths and talents?
Think of the things you're particularly good at, as well as things that people come to you for help with.
4. What is my personality?
Are you a leader or followers?
Do you prefer to work alone or in a group?
Do you prefer to cooperate or compete with others?
Do you enjoy helping others or prefer to empower them to do things themselves?
Are you a thinker who focuses on ideas or are you a doer who takes action?
Are you a creative and artistic person or do you thrive with structure and routine?
Also consider your values.

I recently asked the question on social media, "Do you know where you're going?"
Several people answered yes, but sadly, several said no.
Steve Jobs said
"the only way to do GREAT work is to love what you do. If you haven't found it yet, keep looking, DON'T SETTLE. As with all matters of the heart, you'll know when you find it.

Today I'm chatting with Nicky about how young people can build better habits to reach their goals. It's a HUGE boost when things feel out of control.
Habits will help you to manage your emotions, feelings, and actions, as well as manage the impacts that external factors have on the way we go about our day. If you hang out with Nicki for too long, she’ll brainwash you into believing you can do anything. She is a life coach with a passion for helping individuals reach their goals through building habits of discipline, consistency, focus, and accountability. Her results-oriented coaching provides individuals the commitment to selfishly focus on themselves while they become the best version of themselves.

101 Keys to Winning at Life: #5
Todays key comes from Toolman Tim at ToolmanTim.co:
How The 1% Better Principle worked for me. Two years ago I started a YouTube channel. As a 38 year old, bearded, quiet spoken fella, talking to himself in his basement office, I knew literally zero about content creation. However c
My audio was barely audible. I tried a shotgun mic, a corded lapel mic, and a cordless mic. I set them up in multiple locations, watched every video I could on improving sound quality, I nearly tore my hair out. But the end result was great audio. I spent way too much time editing my content. So I forced myself to do single take videos. This allowed me to put out more content in the same amount of time. Not easy, not comfortable, but I improved.
I knew live-streaming was another key to success. I had unstable internet in my studio, so I moved to my office. I tweaked the lighting, adjusted the audio, got a new backdrop, but most importantly I kept live-streaming every single week. Each time I did something dumb I didn't do it again.
If you are a numbers person, 1% improvement daily leads to 3800% improvement annually. None of this would have happened if I didn't commit to being uncomfortable, trying new things and getting 1% better every day.

I've got two quotes to share with you on this movin', motivated, Monday:
The first comes from author and leadership coach Robin Sharma,
“My best investment, as cliched as this sounds, is the money I’ve spent developing myself, via books, workshops and coaching. Leadership begins within, and to have a better career, start by building a better you.” ― Robin S. SharmaThe second quote is from legendary NFL coach Tom Landry:
“Really, coaching is simplicity. It’s getting players to play better than they think that they can.” ― Tom Landry
Find a coach or mentor who can get you to perform above and beyond what you believe is possible. Then you'll have no trouble hitting every goal and building every dream.

101 Keys to Winning at Life: #4
Do the Next Thing I am able to “win at life” by getting things done. When I have multiple tasks that need to be completed, trying to do them all at once makes me feel frantic and overwhelmed. I hinder myself from doing any of the jobs efficiently. I become impatient, irritable, and unpleasant to be around. I have learned that I need to stop, take a breath, make a list, and do one thing at a time. One by one tasks get done, and I can confidently move on to the next thing. I may get interrupted, but if I have a list to come back to, I know exactly where I need to start again. As the tasks on my list get crossed off, I have a definite feeling of success and winning!
If you want to create a roadmap to winning at life for your teen, just send an email to [email protected] with the subject line "Winning at Life", and a short paragraph about your situation.
