This week is World Health Day where the UN have reported on the state of the global health economy. It has also been the end of COP 28 where the 130 nations that took part have agreed to try and keep global warming to 1.5 degrees. And Fatima Whitbread is tackling the UK Care system. Our guest this week is Cindy Slaughter an entrepreneur in Marketing who founded MIM agency is making a difference in the workplace as well as championing start-ups & SMEs. Chrissy shares why she wants to help people in poverty in Africa why she wants to leave a lasting foundation for her daughter. This week is our first impact news show on the podcast where Ali Monjack and I did a roundup of stories within our network. My next guest this week is expat lawyer John Richardson who’s mission it is to stop taxing American born people in other countries abroad commonly know as FATCA. John shares why he dusted off his law licenses and began educating governments, the tax industry and individuals about these problems and assisting people with U.S. citizenship relinquishment after the 2011 campaign from the Obama administration. As John says the tax industry and what can only be described as America’s “dirty little secret” discrimination that is invisible and can be understood only by those who have experienced it
