This episode features my conversation with a former collaborator and longtime friend from when I was at Drexel! Nico and I collaborated on energy storage related projects between our two groups in Germany and the US for much of my time in grad school. But the really nice thing was he and I would often run into each other at conferences all over the world. It was so nice to catch up after all these years, hear how much Nico likes working in industry, and reflect on our favorite conference locations (Spoiler: it was Montpellier). I hope Nico's story and experience of doing a PhD in Europe is useful to some of you out there. Enjoy!
