Look....I don’t believe in censorship. Late night should be fun, edgy, and unafraid. But political satire only works when everyone is fair game. Jimmy Kimmel’s return feels less like comedy and more like narrative reinforcement. Politics is downstream from culture, and when satire punches in only one direction, it stops being satire — and starts looking like propaganda.
Join me as we dive into the real world of late-night TV. Don't be fooled, every comic who has been on late-night has had their content reviewed before they go live. So it's not as "free speech" as yo think. But if you're gonna host a late show to help your audience unwind, then do some unwinding. Don't lean so heavy into one political shtick
