I'll See You In HELL!! A Podcast about movies that kick ass and take names!!!
Nathan & Ollie
Two mediocre white guys, recall and review classic movies of the past and present. Try to imagine a conversation you might have with a 90s era video store clerk about what you should watch tonight. We WILL tackle films that won't often be discussed as Oscar worthy but are always considered entertaining. We will argue, agree and attempt to mimic accents of the most classic one liners and movie tropes. Come prepared to laugh and it is ALWAYS a good idea to listen after you have seen the film and not before.
Planes Trains and Automobiles - "Those aren't PILLOWS!!!!!" (Episode 22)
In honor of the greatest holiday of the year, the fellas tackle the 1987 Turkey day classic, Planes, Trains and Automobiles. Nathan & Ollie go into great detail about their individual holiday movie traditions. This is easily one of the BEST John Candy movies of all time and this film also contains the GREATEST customer service scene to ever grace a screen.  --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/seeyouinhell/message

The Rock - "I only borrowed your Humveee!!" (Episode 21)
Due to the recent death of screen legend, Sir Sean Connery, we diverted our plans to cover this 1996 Michael Bay classic.. Get ready for a hell of a ride as we dissect the good and the bad of this insanely good / hilarious film.  --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/seeyouinhell/message

Commando - "You told me you would kill me last.." "I LIED!!" (Episode 20)
Wow... This movie is insanely good and the fella's welcomed back Sara to discuss this Arnold classic.  HER DAD TOOK HER to see this when she was a kid. How cool is that???   Every great action movie should start with super slow, super close up view of the hero's biceps, carrying a tree.  We also went a good 10 minutes about how silly the bad guy was in this one.    Enjoy!!   DON'T FORGET TO VOTE. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/seeyouinhell/message

Dr. Strangelove - "Gentlemen! you can't fight in here! This is the War Room!" (Episode 19)
The fella's pulled a little curveball and welcomed our friend Mike to discuss the 1964 classic, Dr. Strangelove.  Breaking news:  Nathan complained about this movie... over and over and over again.  He is BAFFLED as to why this awesome film is so loved and respected.. I think we turned him around a little after an hour of discussion.  --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/seeyouinhell/message

Point Break - "I AM AN F. B. I. AGENT!!!!!!!" (Episode 18)
We welcome our old friend, Chris, back to discuss this iconic 1991 Patrick Swayze and Keanu Reeves masterpiece, Point Break. This actually turns out to have been the last GREAT film by Mr. Swayze. We tackle the really important questions like, were Utah and Babbage the two worst FBI agents in the history of the agency? Did Babbage really need TWO meatball subs? What the hell was Anthony Kiedus doing in this movie?  --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/seeyouinhell/message

Galaxy Quest - "Never give up... never surrender!!" (Episode 17)
Nathan and Ollie welcome Jason back to talk about this 1999 love letter to nerds. This film absolutely stands up and the laughs are still just as effective 21 years later.  We spend a good deal of time being in shock that the movie is actually that old.  --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/seeyouinhell/message

Mad Max Fury Road - "I am the scales of justice, conductor of the choir of death!" (Episode 16)
This is one of the few modern era movies we think is worthy of discussion and love. The background story on how this movie is made is intense, took more than 15 years and the results are remarkable. Nathan and myself saw this movie, in theater, when it came out and it was one of the most intense and incredible movie going experiences we can each remember.  IF they finally manage to make another, we will be early in line to buy tickets.  --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/seeyouinhell/message

Are you ready for FOOOOOOOOTTTTTBALLLLL!?!?!?   so are we so we conclude our two week dive into two great football movies. This week the fella's tackle the 1999 epic, Any Given Sunday. The NFL NEVER endorsed this film and yet it is filled with luminaries from the past and present.  --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/seeyouinhell/message

The Program - "Starting defense! Place at the table!” (Episode 15)
It is officially early September and this is typically the time when college football would be returning to college campuses and home living rooms across the country.  Because of COVID we don't have that so Nathan & Ollie decided to take this week to talk about the 1993 cult classic, The Program. This movie holds up in some ways and is insanely dated in other ways.  Ollie also asks the important question about potential casting of a remake... "Does the Rock have a younger brother??!?!?" --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/seeyouinhell/message

Conan the Barbarian (part 2 of 2) - "He is Conan, Cimmerian, he won't cry, so I cry for him." (Episode 14)
The final part of our two part discussion of an early Arnold masterpiece... I admit something that shocks and surprises both Nathan and Jason, specifically about something that I DIDN'T love about this movie. It was a great discussion this week and we hope you enjoy it!!!    Possible VERY exciting guest coming on our show soon.  --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/seeyouinhell/message
