This is the most unprofessional podcast I’ve ever heard. The hosts use foul language non-stop, talk about their personal biases and feelings instead of the subject matter, and most of all, the sound quality is abysmal. They sound drunk, and like they are in a bathroom, recording on old cellphones.

Big fan of these women. Smart, intelligent, often funny, and always irreverent. What more could you want from a podcast?

These amazing women have taught me so much and I have to give credit to their style - they give so much context and teach you about the surrounding issues regarding the subject of the episode, which in turn leads to that much more insight and education! I absolutely CONSUME their work and tell everyone I know to give it a listen. I am learning something new every time I turn it on and I just adore them as both teachers and commentators. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This podcast should be in your queue. Entertaining, informative, and well researched, the Ill Repute Podcast will teach you things you never thought you'd need to know. Sometimes salty, often hilarious, always informative. Sovereign Syre and Ela Darling provide a perspective that you might not agree with but I guarantee you need to listen to. The range of topics and the passion of the presenters make this a must have podcast.

The hosts are engaging, the content is fascinating and as a woman of I’ll repute myself the content speaks to me. Such a nice retreat from the tired True Crime genre that was previously my go to. You must listen.

All of the ladies on this show are amazing. Sovereign’s foray into the nuanced histories of different women through the ages is always excellent no matter what the medium. Update: I originally wrote this on 9/5/18. I had no idea that five years later, almost to the day, I would become the new cohost. My review remains the same: Sovereign is a genius and I am honored to learn from her, especially from my seat as her new cohost!

This show is great for learning about little know historical and figures with some wild pasts and presents! Sovereign and Ella have a fantastic chemistry and really keep the show moving along. Give it a listen, you’ll dig it!

Really like the point of view of the hosts. Seeing how sex work informs the way they analyse historical figures. Plus they’re funny and insightful. As a dude I’m not sure if I’m the target audience but love the show. Good luck as the new cohost Ela, as a long time listener I think you did a great job with Sov.

The ladies are funny, smart, interesting, and entertaining. They cover rarely talked about people who deserve to have their stories told and told truely.

I just discovered your podcast. I like it and think it’s rather interesting, but I did notice that you tend to speak over your guest and dominate the conversation too much. This particular guest seems like a soft-spoken individual, so it would have been better to let him express himself more. That said, I look forward to listening to the rest of the series and to following your career. It’s interesting.

Observations roves in and out of every topic you can imagine: comedy, sure; but also politics, relationships, philosophy, identity, and more. It’s not just that there’s something for everybody, it’s that everything is included. Love it.

Ive listened to Sovereign's podcast from the beginning when she was under Juliland and have enjoyed every episode. Its great to see her on her own now. These never feel like interviews, they just are natural conversations bewteeen her and her guest. We are just fortunate to be listening in.
