What I like most about Ignition Point is how Steven is able weave together the relatable real-world examples of life into lessons for today’s Young Professional without otiose content. As someone who leads a highly diversified team in the workplace, I appreciate Steven’s motivation and enthusiasm that he brings to each episode’s topic, as it helps me translate that lesson into motivating my own employees to achieve their goals. Topics like “Being More Approachable” (Ep 2) and “Find Your Fire” (Ep 3) really have rung true to me as a listener as I develop myself and develop others. It’s an informative and relatable look at how to find success in chasing the next big idea. Have a listen, you will not be disappointed!

I enjoy how the messaging incorporates a story telling perspective without telling a story. It makes it so that the episodes are engaging, which is hard to do in a podcast. I am excited to see how the theories of social and human development can be incorporated in different ways, I believe that will allow the episodes to continue to go deeper with motivation as more people listen The 10-12 minute mark is perfect for the messages that are being delivered

I cannot wait to hear Steven’s episodes every week. Each episode helps me connect what I do at work everyday. Working with teens I am able to relate what Steven is talking about to how I work with my teens. Anyone who is working in an industry that they aren’t truly passionate about should listen to this podcast...might help you realize the potential you have.

It’s a quick and enjoyable series with a lot of useful information. I think everyone has something to take away from the series, regardless of where they are in life. There’s always room to learn something new!

As a recent graduate struggling in the job search, becoming discouraged/demotivated and feeling lost as to what to do next has been a major hurdle for me. Steve doesn't just provide positivity and passion; there are tons of podcasters who have both of those things. Nor does Steve just give the listener information or point out helpful strategies, as this too can be found in articles aplenty. Ignition Point brings all of these things to the table in a cohesive and synergistic style, something I haven't seen anywhere else in my search for assistance in entering and succeeding in the professional world. I still have a lot of work ahead to get where I want to be, but Steve and this podcast help me stay motivated and on track while also inspiring me throughout the steps (both big and small) I have to take to succeed in my endeavors.

Steven puts a unique spin on stories to challenge your personal and team status quo and enable growth. His rules allow you to take initiative wherever you are and build up your team. I also really like the fact that he doesn’t use the “motivators” at the beginning of his talk to make people listen; he puts the words out there first and explains the “motivation” before stating who inspired him. I’m excited to see what else Steven has in store for us!

Steven brings up great points for anyone in the professional world. Recommended for anyone that works in a team environment or works for themself! It made me think of the environment I was in when I worked for retail management for 9 years and everyone was out for themselves and not for the team which gave me to courage to leave and start my own thing. And now working for myself I definitely use all of the rules he mentioned in episode 1!
