I love how refreshing it feels to my spirit to listen to Chari teach and preach. It almost feels like I’m having coffee with my bestie and giggling at all the little and big heart aches of life. OK, so sometimes we are crying in this imaginary scenario—but that’s just life. I listened to Grief like three times over. In fact, I listened to Armor more than once, too. In the mornings I think about basic training and honoring people and loving people and what it looks like to really follow Jesus and allow Him to pick me up when I’m beaten up. I tell everyone I can about this podcast. Chari is so cool and down to earth. But what I love most is that she speaks the truth. She doesn’t water it down or sugar coat it. It is what it is. I’ve found myself crying and cracking up listening to Chari! I’ve met her in person at a conference and she’s so authentic, genuine, and so connected to Gods presence. I love how much she runs to Gods word in every episode! ❤️

I love this podcast so much! I love the authentic and real way Chari speaks from Scripture! She breaks things down so they’re easy to digest and apply in every day life. Yes, she has an entertaining delivery but this podcast isn’t just entertainment. It’s an invitation and practical how to of going deeper in your relationship with God.

Love love love the podcasts! Straight talk about real life and how to live through it. I listen to one and just let the previous ones play while I am cooking or working. Each time I get more and more out of them! I especially love when her cat put her paw in the coffee 🤣 You can’t get more real than that! Keep them coming!

And that’s a good thing. One episode I listened to was twenty minutes and I thought that’s it? It’s over? What am I going to listen to now? Thankfully I simply moved onto another one of her episodes. :) But that’s what Chari does- straight to the point, down to earth, raw, blunt, plain and simple, funny. In this world of fluff, extravagance, pride, and deception- where God’s words can be twisted, manipulated and hidden, Chari provides purity and clarity to the true Word of God. Chari delivers the Good News in her own unique God-given ability. Chari approaches biblical topics with humility, honesty, and humor. She provides practical ways to bring Life to the party instead of being the life of the party. She keeps God the main thing and reminds us that we are not the main thing- never have been and never will be. And that’s a really good thing. Let her humility rub off on us! Let God be revealed through her honesty and may her humor make us merry!

I first started listening after I heard her preach at the flourish conference at east coast church. I love her perspective on things. Keep doing Gods work honey... Some of us are actually listening.

I started listening after my pastor, Carolyn Haas, posted about this podcast after attending a conference in Florida where Chari spoke. This podcast has come into my life in such a timely moment. As God always does. Also love that they are short and yet very much substancial.

Chari is genuine, honest, truthful, and graceful in all that she shares here. Years of experience and wisdom being shared and unpacked about a variety of issues. Worth the listen!

I have searched for MONTHS for a podcast like this. I honestly wish I had found it sooner. Chari is real and raw with the truth she shares in every podcast. She doesn't sugarcoat things or interject her own ideas about God into what she does. Her podcasts are biblically sound and convicting. Sometimes, as christian/church creatives...we can get off course and things that are NOT a thing become our focus. Chari helps redirect your focus to be Kingdom minded. So thankful that she listen to God's calling for her life and has shared this truth with the world. Subscribe now, because you won't regret it. Also, the intro is FIRE. I usually don't like Podcast intros...but it is seriously the best!

I'm having a little trouble finding a short and sweet way to describe how life changing this Podcast is. I'm known for being overly emotional and writing novels that include all of my feels, so bare with me. I finally had the pleasure and courage to approach Chari after Sisterhood last night. Of all the times I've seen her speak/host at Shine, Sisterhood or just regular Service in the past, the way she describes herself I've always felt like I can relate to her in the deepest way. Last night Chari shared a little bit more in depth about herself at the table. I was so stirred inside that every time she touched the mic my eyes would well-up with tears. Even before she spoke a word I was flooded with emotions. Her testimony is much like my constant battle in this life. It's always there. It feels never ending. Like a prison I'll never break free from. As I listen to each Podcast I'm filled with inspiration and hope, that the Lord has taken her from a place of no self control that I live in to where she is now - loving people like Jesus, taking those moments in corners when you need it, like Jesus. She told me about this Podcast, gave me a few pointers and sent me away just encouraging the heck out of me. "You can do it, you've got this, I believe in you!" I started her Podcast as soon as I got home. I'm only on session 4 and I can't describe it but it's a game changer. It will touch your soul. Make you think deeper. It will heart check you but in the most Humble way. The way she delivers each message, each session while keeping it raw, real and authentic is truly refreshing.

This podcast stands out among the rest! Chari invites the listener into her life and gives us a peek at what an authentic life of someone who puts God first looks like. She doesn’t sugar coat things, she doesn’t fake it, she doesn’t put on a front of perfection, and she is hilarious. Thank you for being real with us, Chari!

I’m not a podcast person but the episode “Busyness is NOT a thing” has officially gotten me hooked! Needless to say, I have subscribed and can’t wait to catch up on all of the episodes I’ve missed. This podcast quickly has become one of my faves. There’s laughing, laughing until crying, crying, crying until laughing and all this can be done in a corner, if you so desire. I’ve found that the truth bombs laid out in every episode has caused me to listen more than once and then share with those I know want the same truth bombs. This is one of the realest podcasts I listen to. I couldn’t be more appreciative of Chari’s willingness to expose alllll the things that we try and cover up these days with this uncanny ability to not make me feel like a complete screw up. Keep it up, leader of the weirdos!!!!

Having trouble finding words for this except, YES. Relatable, inspiring, challenging, confirming. Lots of nuggets and I’m finding that I come back and listen to them over and again because there’s a lot in there! Do you have notes and even a list of your books I can come back to, to meditate on? I’m not techy, or on social, so please forgive me if there is an obvious place where this information already resides.

First of all, I’ve cried 76 times. I cry every episode. I cannot. *insert Claire Danes gif* This podcast will change your life! The wisdom god has shared and given to Chari is a game changer. I’ve learned so much and all I’ve wanted to do is be a better woman, friend, a better leader. If you want to learn how to serve people at the highest level, do yourself a favor and take a listen! Grab the tissues. Don’t fight back the tears (it’s fine, just cry already) and embrace all the goodness jesus has for you through this podcast! #wisdom

do NOT listen to this podcast, seriously... i started it at work and cried several times before the end of my shift. not to mention that by the end of the week i had listened to each of the episodes... twice. my manager wasn’t too happy that I was ignoring customers and pushing my coworkers aside to find a corner to cry in. so I definitely would not recommend it if you had any sort of a soul. if you’re a robot who enjoys a melodic tone and encouraging messages then go for it. it might be something that you can play to yourself as you recharge each night. but anybody with any sort of feelings stay away

This podcast was recommended by a friend and I’m so glad I started it. I like that even tho this is pitched as a “leadership” podcast, it can be applied to any area of my life. I just started it and can’t wait to see what the future episodes say. I think we all cry in corners, some of us just aren’t brave enough to say it!

I love the way Chari speaks about leadership. The topic can often feel harsh or even ambitious. I’ve heard the phrase that leaders shouldn’t be friends with those they are leading, but Chari communicates leadership like friendship. I feel like she genuinely cares about the listeners ability to apply what she’s sharing. I highly recommend subscribing 👌🏼

This may be "geared" towards leadership, but this has helped me as a parent! Anyone looking for help in leading anyone (including your children) should give this a listen. Chari is an authentic, funny, bible-truth-bomb dropping woman. You will leave inspired, and encouraged that it is okay, to yes...cry in corners.

Love the honesty from which she speaks from. I had the privilege of hearing her speak at a CRTVCHURCH huddle in Orlando and absolutely loved her. She has an incredible attitude and outlook and a Latin temper top it all off. Her outlook on leadership is a breath of fresh air. Give I cry in corners a listen, you won’t be disappointed.
