Statistically, About 20 people per minute are physically abused by an intimate partner. This week as we talk to Author Marva J Edwards about her experience with domestic violence, she shares how she stepped into her own power to escape her abuser,  and how she has turned her story into a mission to help others heal. Years after she rebuilt her new life she realized the need for a safe space for survivors to continue their healing journey as well as a place to connect with other survivors, thus creating MOM-ministries. An outreach program equipped to empower and help those seeking to live a better life after abuse and help set the foundations for a healthy family.
