I always wanted to make episodes on latest movie releases, but somehow, it took 6 months to initiate the first episode. What if I sound judgemental? What if I sound like a so-called movie critic? Lots of questions, but finally, I’m here with my first opinion on ‘V’, a movie by Mohan Krishna starring Sudheer Babu, Nani, Nivetha Thomas and Aditi Rao Haidari. Watch the movie before coming here to relate and enjoy the episode more. And here, I’m neither reviewing nor giving any verdict on whether to watch the movie or not. So, sit back and listen to this episode without any expectations.

In a way, we kind of started relying on the reviews. Yes, there are some awesome folks doing this job very professionally and doing with utmost passion. We respect and salute to them. But, in this episode Ashish and I shall be discussing about those frustrating times with these so-called movie critics. We tried to explore some serious questions and dilemmas. you gotta dream big, live big. This is what everybody tells us. If living like that comes as a choice, there is nothing wrong, yet, how many of us really feel like having great dreams and aspirations? Is it the only way to live? Can't we just go easy on ourselves? These are some of the questions running in my mind from a very long time. That is why I decided to spill all of my thoughts on this episode. I don't know whether I could communicate all of my thoughts well enough, there may be some errors here and there, but, please note, this is just a genuine attempt to lift down some of the weight from my head and to find like minded people around. you may like some of them, you may buy some of them, you may just think I'm just an idiot. Any which way, let me know your thoughts on the content and production on Instagram @humming_diary.

Yes! After a very long struggle, I could finally get Ashish and Jayashree on another episode of Humming Diary. This time, we are with a relatively complex and controversial topic, Sex Education, that too with a special reference to Indian context. I'm sure we all have our own doubts / stands / difference of opinions on the topic sex education. Formally or informally, we heard a lot of things about sex, sexual health and many more things which are considered as sex education, in this process there might be definite confusions, inhibitions and surely questions. Well, we are not different. In this episode, Ashish, Jayashree and I would be trying to talk about all of these confusions, questions, inhibitions about sex education and most importantly, we would be trying to get some clarity of stands on this whole idea of sex education. So, fasten your seatbelts and get ready for the journey.

All the decisions that we take, choices we make and even stands that we take on certain things are often dominated by our ideologies, philosophies and our biases. In this episode, I'm going to talk about that last part. I'm not trying to rant or lecture about being biased and partial. In our day to day life, bias plays an important role all the times, only catch is, most of the times it is unconsciously done , this is more harmful and more menacing. I will share some of my unconscious biases that I could identify and try to explore ways in which we can avoid them. Let me know your views and thoughts on Instagram at humming_diary.

This review is done by P. Priyadarshini, a student of B.ed in the English and Foreign Languages University.
This review points out the relevance of Paulo Freire's conceptualization and theorisation to teaching and education. It also attempts to go beyond the content of the text by engaging with it critically.
