After graduating from a top music school in Southern California — making it through the rigors of the classical style took its toll. At 16, Andrea Duran is living in the fast lane with friends, partying in Mexico. Her dad couldn't cope so he dropped her off at the airport with the advice... "figure it out."  On a whim she moves to Orange County, California with a friend, sleeps in a car, showers on the beach, works at IHOP, but eventually starts working as an escort where part of the job duties was robbing the clients. After many years full of danger, drugs, and raves Andrea moves back to Austin where she continued to work in the adult entertainment industry, in some of the seediest establishments this city has to offer. Having a gun pointed at her head as she and the other girls were being robbed was her turning point. Now a graduate student of Clinical Mental Health Counseling, she has lofty goals of helping migrants and girls caught in human trafficking / sex trafficking.
