Too much wandering
I want to like this show, but the pace is extremely slow. The topics they put forth are often great, it’s just that they are presented in what feels like a very sloppy way, with no organization and minimal public speaking skills. Even increasing this to 1.5x speed doesn’t help. There are still long gaps in between comments. Better orchestration and planning for the podcast would help alleviate some of the awkward pauses and the fumbling over each other other’s comments. It might seem cute and quaint to them to ramble and talk over each other, but it leaves me as a audience member feeling anxious for them to get to the point, and it just ends up being awkward.

A lot of rambling but good topics
Let me start by saying this podcast has a lot of potential. Both Susan and Guthrie have a lot of experience and background in the topics, but I am extremely disappointed in the production. Unlike their live presentations, this podcast And clarity, it is very obvious there is no script they are following. Each one of the episodes could be whittled down 5 to 7 minutes, with another 40 or so minutes I have one in Carmel Rancho, and sometimes painful banter. I hope that they hire a producer, and stick to a script to move the episodes along. If they did that, and re-recorded some of the episodes they’ve already released, I think this could be a go to podcast for people in the design profession.

Like pulling teeth
Listening to this podcast is like being stuck in a meeting where the people who called the meeting are totally unprepared, easily distracted, and completely unaware of how much they’re disrespecting and wasting everyone else’s time. I showed up because I’m interested in the topic and respect the host. Please set an agenda, research definitions in advance, and leave the awkward rambling banter at home.

Not Worth the Time
Was excited about a podcast with Susan Weinschenk as I have enjoyed her books, but the podcasts include akward dynamics between her and her son and aren't worth the time listening to if you are looking for actual psychology-technology insights. However, I think her son was drunk in the episode, 'A Framework for Behavioral Science Ethics', so you might consider listening to that one for entertainment if you can force yourself to listen to one of the worst semi-philosophical debates ever recorded.
