Banaras, holiest city of India, in this book Aimless in Banaras the writer captures different moods, from Baba Vishwanath to Kashi Ka Assi. A well-written travelogue by Journalist and writer Bishwanath Ghosh, the book is a very interesting read. In this episode i discover snippets of Banaras through the eyes of this book.

This book is written so beautifully by Sh. Surendra Verma, the journey of its protagonist Silbil or Varsha Vasishtha grips you hard and does not leave you for many days after you have finished the book. This book is an epic and timeless journey.
