After trying (and failing) to get all of my friends on the Red Rising train, I’m so so amped to have this podcast! I have read and reread all of the books (some many times over) and I am having the best time listening to Ben and Erin chat about these beloved characters. You guys are the best!

They are really well prepared each episode with a consistent structure and great talking points, but also bring in lots of their authentic personalities, charm, and loads of humor. Best podcast of all time? It certainly can’t be ruled out. Ben and Erin have amazing chemistry, amazing comedic timing, and their love of Red Rising bleeds through every second of the show!

They’re fun and loose which I like. The biggest problem is they spoil all parts of the series regardless of what they’re discussing. If you haven’t read the entire series, don’t listen to any of the podcast, they drop random information about later books constantly.

It stinks to not have people to talk with about great series like Red Rising. So happy to see a long standing podcast on the series.

This podcast. Y’all are amazing

This is a complete copy paste of Binge Mode but I’m here for it. The reread has begun as we head towards book 6 and 7 and these are perfect companion pieces.

Ben & Erin display a true love and passion for this wonderfully-written series. I’ve listened to them twice now on re-reads and the discussion is immensely informative and entertaining, yet so conversational that I found myself — by myself — laughing out loud or commenting randomly as if I were there. What’s more is you really feel their friendship along the way, with the flow of conversation and similar sense of humor, the pod just feels so natural, making it a truly alluring experience.

I loved the red rising books and then I stumbled on this podcast. Not only do Ben and Erin do a great job discussing the books, they make you feel like you’re hanging out with your best friends at the same time. Cannot recommend enough! Hopefully now I’m safe from Erin’s threats if you don’t give 5 stars…

All caught up on the books but just discovered this Podcast. I’ve listened to 25 episodes in about a week, fantastically addictive. Reliving the books through the eyes of Ben and Erin has brought fantastic insight and laughs.

Ben Reinert and Erin Ayers are Howler #2 and Howler #3. Period. I have only reread the Red Rising series in full once since I discovered it in August and I did my reread with these incredible people and their incredible podcast. They bring such great analysis and energy to the table when it comes to Pierce Brown's work. Every fan of the series should listen and every Howler should already be listening. Aaawooo!

These re reads and character studies are just what I’ve needed to fill the void until Book 6.

I was looking for a podcast that covered Red Rising but had a similar structure to Binge Mode and I definitely found it! (I’m pretty sure they copied Binge Mode’s model, but I’m 100% okay with that)

Best goreydamn reread ever

I’ve been listening to this podcast while doing a reread of the books. I’m currently on Morning Star. Love this pod! Ben and Erin have some interesting insights that I had never thought about before, and they crack me up! I was giving my class a spelling test awhile ago and one of the words was rise. I could just picture Erin going “riiiiiiiise” and I almost lost it in front of my students.

Ben and Erin form a witty and sometimes zany duo that never cease to inform and entertain. Their love of the series exudes with each chapter review. Thank you for putting this on!

You know that feeling when you finish a red rising book and just want to sit silently and never read another book? This is how you get past that and move on to the next heartbreaking book! This pod makes you feel less alone in the gloom. Erin and Ben are funny and great hosts (I promise, just push past the first few episodes and their sound quality gets way better).

I have died laughing while listening to this podcast. I found this podcast in the emotional hangover after reading Dark Age. And now I have an emotional hangover for binge listening to HowlerPod! Ben and Erin, thank you for hours of entertainment, laughs and hardcore nerd outs for the best gorydamn sci-fi series around. Aroooo!

We all read a book or a series and wish we had someone to talk to about it. This podcast feels like that, very fun and actually helpful with catching things. I recently got my wife to read the series and she hasn’t read a book since high school and now we have a 3 week old son named Pax lol!

They pointed out things I never noticed before which just made me love this series even more. It was also nice to actually listen to other people talk about this series since nobody I know is into this series

I am on ep. 26 and seriously can’t get enough of this podcast. Luckily for me there are plenty more. I am binge listening this podcast. Great chemistry between the two hosts (Blue and Pixie Gold). Really fun to listen too if you love Red Rising. So get off your fart hole and l read the books and then listen to this podcast! Highly recommend it! Awoooooo!!!!

I love this podcast! They really go in depth and point out things you never noticed. But the main reason this podcast is so successful for me is the hosts. Erin is hilarious and Ben knows just about everything there is to know about the books. Makes for a great dynamic between the two. If you love Red Rising, it’s a great listen!
