We have been away for a couple weeks, but since the NHL is now officially in full swing during the off-season. The boys discuss the best signings, which teams have improved the most, surprises during the draft, the players select and their potential. This is one of our longest episodes to date, so settle in your favorite lazy-boy chair and crack a cold beer and get caught up in what's happening around the NHL.

The VEGAS GOLDEN KNIGHTS are Stanley Cup Champions! What a run by this team, everyone stepped up and no one was a liability to this team during the playoffs. Marchessault wins the Conn Smythe Trophy but could have been award to many others on the Knights. Touch on the Penguins hiring Spezza as the Assistant GM, Devils signing Bratt and all of the UFA's. The Rangers have finally named their new head coach and it is a guy who has been around the league for a long time. Sad that the hockey season is over, but don't worry listeners we aren't going anywheres. We will still be dropping weekly episodes and covering stuff that happens around the NHL and also any other sporting news.

The Boys decided to record a late one after Game 3 of the Stanley Cup Finals, and we are glad we decided to wait. Florida finally found a way to get a win against Vegas and get their first ever Stanley Cup Finals win but will they be able to comeback in this series? Columbus makes a big splash not once but twice as they beef up their backend (we recorded before the Severson news broke). Flyers seem to be rebuild and not many players are safe. Tons of drama in Winnipeg, PLD wants out but where does he land? Hellebuyck, Scheifele, and Wheeler might also be out the door. John Gibson is also a name out on the market. ROUND 3 is here, we are now down to only 4 teams! Dallas, Vegas, Florida, and Carolina will battle it out for a chance to lift the Stanley Cup. A ton of reflection on the Round 2 matchups. Leafs continue to fail in the playoffs; we talk possible fixes and changes that need to be made. Kraken had a nice season when everyone wrote them off at the start of the season. Oilers need more tweaking in areas. Devils had a nice run but clearly weren't ready yet. We discuss the best remaining players left in playoffs. Also, talking about who might be the best GM for the agin Pittsburgh Penguins. And also what is going on in Arizona!

A lot went on in the hockey world this past week. Round 2 hasn't been as exciting as Round 1 matchups but we have a strong feeling it is going to start picking up! Oilers and Knights are not afraid of the rough stuff, Petro is trying to chop Draisaitl's hand off. Kraken are no joke, plus they get McCann back in the lineup. Devils are on the brink of elimination. Leafs trying to do something that has only been done 4 times in NHL history. Chicago Blackhawks win the draft lottery and will most likely pick Bedard. Rangers and head coach Gallant mutually part ways. Bad news for Landeskog and the Avalanche. Bo Jackson is dealing with something no one would want to live with. Tune in for a great episode.

Round 1 is already over and it is hard to believe how fast the playoffs are going by. Another thing that is so hard to believe is that the Toronto Maple Leafs finally won a playoff round, snapping their 19 year drought. Devils win the battle of the Hudson as they bested the Rangers in 7. Hurricanes take down Islanders in 6. WTF happened to the Boston Bruins, the best regular season team ever got eliminated by the Florida Panthers. Oilers beat the LA Kings in the first round again. Vegas had the easiest first round out of any team as they got to play the Winnipeg Jets. Wild had no shot at beating the Stars, no body was scoring for them and Oettinger stood on his head. We go over the 2nd Round matchups, Darryl Sutter getting Fired, Famous people putting in bids for the Ottawa Senators, and much more.

A very exciting first round of the playoffs so far. We have had some shit officiating though and some teams are getting the shit end of the stick when it comes to some of these calls. The Toronto Maple Leafs look like a different team as of late as they look to advance past the 1st round since 2004. Oettinger is starting to play like he did in last years playoffs and that is great for Dallas as they try to advance to the 2nd round. Can the Avalanche get by the Kraken or will the Makar suspension be too much for them to overcome? Devils are coming back from the dead as they stole two games in Madison Square Garden. Oilers have the heavy foot on the gas pedal right now and there is no signs of letting up. Bruins will look to close out the Florida Panthers. And the New York Islanders are not going out without a fight either, as they look to force a Game 7 at home against the depleted Hurricanes.
