It’s so good to hear stories from so many different women about how they overcame obstacles in their unique circumstances. So uplifting , and refreshing with all of the negativity we’re bombarded with in the world.

I listen to this podcast every morning as I get ready for work. It is the most upbeat, inspiring, fulfilling, engaging podcast I’ve listened to in... maybe ever? Hearing women share their stories on how they have found their strength and worth in money, in love, as an immigrant, as a single mother, as a victim... it’s so so empowering.

I don’t care how good a podcast is, if an intro lasts longer than 2 minutes I’m done.

This is where my podcast journey began! Thank you for reminding me that in life all of the business, mental & physical and all stuff in between comes with good and bad. Yet, it’s okay. Listening to other women’s stories to hear how they overcome their own obstacles has been very inspirational and has given me the opportunity to self reflect. Sometimes just a a good laugh or tear jerking story, there’s some great stories any women can appreciate. Please bring back more soon Ms. Reese!!

I love this podcast!! I love hearing from different women in each episode, each woman owning and telling her story, in her own words. It is so powerful to hear women owning their experiences and their stories and sharing them with people. I love how there are women from various backgrounds, with different experiences that gives me (and all listerners) a great listening experience.

This podcast tells real stories of real women famous or not, what they went through and how they emerged into stronger, more self-confidant, better beings of themselves. Women, all children and especially Men should listen to this podcast. So powerful! So inspirational! I love that Kelly McCreary is hosting now.

I love the format of women telling their own stories, in their own voices. The high-quality guests always have compelling stories to tell.

Hearing from women we look up to or have important roles in life is amazing. It reminds all of us women that they are also human and anything could happen within minutes. Some of the stories are great and interesting. Some of the stories are... not so much but end up having a mostly good moral to them. Being a woman is hard but if these women can do it so can we! Binged almost all 3 seasons. Almost caught up. Keep up the good work, Reese.

I binged these episodes -all 2 seasons- in less than a week! I’ve suggested it to all my girlfriends. Love the discussions and viewpoints on women’s roles in relation to social issues. Great job!

I have been an avid listener from the beginning and thoroughly enjoyed hearing women’s stories from all walks of life in their own words. It’s been an extraordinary learning process, but I cannot keep to myself how disappointed I was to hear the show create uncritical space and praise for an American military leader and then include a Lakota woman, Sarah Eagle Heart, who described the act of passing Lakota values to her sons as an act of resistance—which it absolutely is considering the United States was founded on the genocide of Native peoples. But who accepted those orders to kill and force assimilation upon those tribes? The American military. I am fairly new to intersectional feminism but what I’ve learned thus far, particularly from women of color, is that feminism is not incorporating women into existing institutions, it’s ending all systems of oppression. It doesn’t take a military scholar to realize that the institution has not strayed from its roots.

Up until today, I’ve only listened to murder related podcast, but they are all starting to sound the same so I thought why not try to find something new.. I absolutely love this podcast

but after one episode, they would listen voluntarily. I can’t explain how much I love this podcast. Each episode speaks more to me than the next. No doubt that anyone who listens to this conversation is changing the world a little.

I’m so grateful to Reese Witherspoon for being such a great ally with Danielle Guerrero being the host (love her she’s fabulous!)and having the amazing inspirational women on this show Gabriel Union and Lena Waithe! I’ve only listened to 2 stories so far & love where this is going. I only wish the host would take it down a few notches. It almost ruins the poignancy of these storytellers to have what sounds like a very young, very caffeinated girl doing the intros.
