How Is That?
How Is That?
McBurney/Sprouse
Two broken pasts, two redeemed friends, one Great God. And questions. Lots of questions. “How is That?” is the natural outcome of our study, friendship and queries on the why’s in the Word. We believe that God is good, that His Word is perfect, and that we, as Christians, and at one time, seekers, have an imperfect view of our Creator. That aside, we love to read the Word and study it and take very seriously the charge to the “older” women (ugh that would be us :-P) in the church to “likewise, teach the younger women to be reverent in the way they live, not to be slanderers or addicted to much wine, but to teach what is good. Then they can urge the younger women to love their husbands and children, to be self-controlled and pure, to be busy at home, to be kind, so that no one will malign the word of God.” Titus 2:3-5. We can get about 5 “How is That’s” just from that passage! Listen sisters, if you love the Lord, listen to Him. In fact, let’s listen together. Join us for “perfectly imperfect” conversations that sharpen us, perplex us, and point others to our perfectly perfect Jesus.
