How Are You, Really?
How Are You, Really?
Caeley Souksavath
“How Are You, Really?” is a mini project that allows listeners to understand what we really might be thinking underneath the, “I’m doing good.” Not everyone is doing “okay,” and sometimes it’s nice to see how other people are handling things. Maybe we’re not all alone. This podcast explores mini interviews with friends and family to see how we’re really doing on the inside. Beware that these questions might not be as simple as you think. This podcast also features advice and late night thoughts. :))
It’s Corona-Time!
This episode, we explore the effects of the Coronavirus on our lives in the U.S. DISCLAIMER: While it may seem like we have gotten off-the-hook with the virus, we do understand that this is a serious topic. All of our complaints could be taken out of context, but I decided to leave it in since this is just a different point of view from us. Things could definitely be worse, and we understand that there are more important things to be thinking about right now. We were prompted to share our thoughts and to explain how we felt, but we do understand that some may have it worse than in our area. We hope that this little insight can help show how we can overcome these daily obstacles, and we hope that by looking at our “concerns” in hindsight, we will realize where to focus our attention. Hopefully, we can learn to focus on the better things and focus on things that can change us for the better. This new perspective will hopefully open our eyes and educate us that there can be many sides to one story. Quarantine hasn’t been easy for anyone. We hope that we all can make the most of it and learn more about ourselves and the world around us. Thanks for listening :)

Maybe We're Not Really Strangers After All...
Hi everyone! If you made it here, thank you so so so so much. This is another episode with my lovely guest, Julia. We decided to play a game called, "We're Not Really Strangers," which is like Cards Against Humanity but on a more profound level. It's quite a lengthy episode, but it's nice to play in the background of your daily life or late at night when you're feeling like you want some conversation to listen to that's not your family. We start on the surface level, but we do dive deep into the things that we might not want to accept or relay publically. This quarantine chat really hits close to home, so listen if you feel like you want to get more out of quarantine. This chat also holds some life lessons (as always) that we want to implement after quarantine is over. This was such a fun and amazing chat to record, and I was taken aback by the things we brought up. My mood was instantly boosted. To whoever is reading this, I hope you're doing okay during this time :)

What Did Harvard Really Teach Us?
This is a conversation that I had with an old friend that I met last summer. Julia and I met during the Harvard Summer Program, and we instantly bonded. We also mention the friend group that we met at Harvard (a future episode maybe?). This was such an amazing episode to film, and it made us realize how much we miss connecting with our friends and connecting with the people around us. This isn't just a long talk about education; this episode ranges from life lessons to a walk down memory lane. I'm hoping that the listeners can take away something from this episode because we've learned a lot from each other. We have changed so much from a small experience, and I hope that it's reflected in this episode.

What Will Happen Next?
This is another mini chat with myself about the future and the fear of failure. I know that it can be easy to be pessimistic and afraid of what might happen. Don't worry, I have this fear myself. :) Maybe we can talk it through. Maybe we can try to lessen those fears. I hope you know that things will happen for a reason. I also hope you know that we can try to control our negative thoughts. It won't be easy. Let's focus on how amazing you're doing right now. I'm proud of you.

You Will Be That Person
This is a short mini episode that is a little bit different. I wanted to make this podcast more of a advice journal, so here is an episode that’s not exactly and interview. I recently asked people if they wanted advice on my Snapchat story, and this is one of the questions that I was asked. Feeling alone is definitely normal, but it doesn’t truly mean that we’re absolutely alone. This is here to let you know that the perfect person will come when the time is right. Not to mention, sometimes that person might be there all along. Don’t worry, we’ll be back to normal your scheduled programming soon. :)
