Emmie's goal in sharing her story is for anyone who may be dealing with confusing thoughts towards their sexuality to know that they are STILL loved. However, House of Affliction's goal is to point you in the direction to seek the Lord, with all your heart and soul, that He may be your comforter in a time of confusion and that He will be your source of correction.

In this episode, I had the privilege of talking with Janet. As she shares her story with us, be listening to what she wishes she knew in the midst of the depression, suicidal thoughts and feelings of unworthiness. The message I believe lies within this podcast is that YOU are not alone. Whatever it is you are going through is real, and Janet's story testifies to the sincerity of depression. This is a story of healing. This is a story of the Lord's faithfulness to bring us through those fiery trials and use it all for His glory.
