Baseball lost a beloved owner who, hopefully, left the blueprint for how owners should operate - with the fullest intent to win and win now. Plus, a look at the new CFP rankings (spoiler: Dawgs still Dawgs) and whether or not programs like Alabama have staying power long after the likes of Saban retire.

Bryce Harper is a bad dude but apparently the only people who didn't quite get that memo were the Braves. Everyone else knows you just...you can't throw a cookie to Harper. Ever. Oh also, the format isn't the problem and the World Series was fun as hell. So much fun, I'm already impatient about when the next season is gonna start.

BIG 12, PAC 12, SEC, ACC, BIG 10...and none of them will exist in the same form next year. Teams are jumping from conference to conference, leaving us college ball fans very little to do but just shrug our shoulders and try to enjoy it for what it is. It's a truly unmatched tradition, especially in places like the South, but it may be unrecognizable before we know it. Part 2 of our three part return after a 13 month (I know) hiatus. Safe to say we had to break it up because once we start talking, we don't really know how to stop.

Gone for so long we had to divide our latest episode into not one, not two, but THREE parts! In part 1, we dive into the ins and outs of the LIV Golf-PGA TOUR merger, and the general state of golf as a whole. Who knows what the sport looks like 13 months from now (the length of our hiatus), but rest assured we will likely be very very wrong.

The 2022 MLB regular season winds down as Albert Pujols hits his 700th home run, Aaron Judge hits his 61st of the season and the Braves host the Mets for a crucial NL east showdown.
