You may have noticed that we love having quite different kinds of conversations at "Horses Talk, We Listen" - one that is based on possibilities and not problems! One area that can be perceived as very problematic is horse bodies - in many cases an injury can be considered a life or death choice for a horse... but what if there is a different possibility for and with the bodies of these beautiful animals? In this episode, we have a special guest, Dr. Andrew Gardella, a chiropractor and Access Consciousness Certified Facilitator who has been working on horse (and people and other animal) bodies for a number of years.  He is a facilitator of ESSE - Energetic Synthesis of Structural Embodiment, and will be joining us to talk about about different possibilities with horse bodies that go beyond the mainstream.

Ever had a 'bad hair' day with your horse, where you don't seem to click, and nothing is working?  Our special guests on this week's show, Cathy Dool and Arlene Schmidek, are Canadian sisters who began riding when they were very little. They went from a deep love of horses, riding quarter horses and thoroughbreds, doing gymkhanas, pack trips, racing, western pleasure competitions, rodeos, you name it!  As they got older they started to buy into the 'problems' with horses, and seemed to get less and less joy with their horses, until finally they gave up riding and sold their horses.   That is.. until they came across the tools of Access Consciousness and Conscious Horse, Conscious Rider and reconnected with the ease and joy and natural sense of communion they had with horses as children. Cathy and Arlene now facilitate Conscious Horse, Conscious Rider classes and invite people to use many simple yet dynamic tools for getting over the 'bad hair days' with horses... whether that is with a particular horse, or just horsing around in general!  “Horses are non-judgment and are like instant mirrors for humans.  They sense a person’s emotions, intentions, and thoughts that we humans convey subconsciously through our body language.  Working with horses and observing their responses, you can learn how to communicate more effectively, manage your emotions and face your fears...”

We play with tools to get rid of whatever limits us from awareness, communion and energetic communication and this brings huge changes to the participants (both the people and the horses!)."
