Jesus came for you to have a life that you love and to help you love the life that you have. Jesus came for you to have a 5 Star Life, but maybe it’s the areas in our lives that we should be going first and aren’t; that are keeping us from the abundant life. 5 Stars signifies something better. That's what we are talking about in this series. How to live the life, the better life, God has for you.

What is God stirring in you? Is He asking you to be more grateful, more giving, more generous, or more grounded? Today, we have a step to take and a move to make.

5 Stars is how we differentiate, quickly, between poor and decent. Between average, good, and best. Most of us would agree that there are aspects of our lives that we would say keep us from living a Five-Star Life. Jesus is very clear though, that He came for us to have abundant life, or a life that’s more than just 1 Star!

Life isn’t about what you make, who you know, or what you do. Life is all about love - loving God and loving others. Love is how we help others encounter God.

Gratitude is how we invite God in. We’ve looked at encountering God, but in part 3 of Encounter, we want to give you a very practical way to encounter God. We have to invite Him in. We have to let Him know that we want Him here. How do we let God know we want His attention or that we want Him there? Gratitude gets God’s attention.

As we continue our story from last week; we see Moses is a man that teaches us a lot about encountering God and praying. We started this series last week looking at Moses.

God does something great in us, when we encounter Him. You can’t meet God without being changed. God's constantly changing us into the best version of ourselves, the person He created us to be. He wants to redeem our past and our mistakes and do something great in us.

Sometimes our steps change the course of history… and sometimes they simply change the course of our lives. To start a movement it takes a step.

Any ounce of devotion, love, or sacrifice we make; is because we learn from Jesus. We learn how to truly love our spouse, our kids, our coworkers, our neighbors, our enemies, and even ourselves… because Jesus first loved us. That’s the movement Jesus began and now we are given the keys to continue!
