The duo discuss all things Mandalorian, in particular, episode 6 of season 2, The Jedi. But as always, their discussion looks at what is REALLY going on behind the scenes. Like the fact that Mando would be a really clean house mate, but rarely has any fun, so he'd be terrible live with. Not just that, but why the hell is his nickname Mando? His name is Din Djarin for crying out loud. If you wanna beat the Mandalorian, simply stall him. He loves to have a chat before the final conflict. However, if you set up a robot sniper on the roof, ensuer that it does it's job! Yes, we have no idea what the Robot sniper was doing on the roof during the final face off between Mando and Lang, but we do suspect it may have preoccupied itself with remedial work, like fixing the thatching on the roof or connecting cable.
These are the cinematic ramblings of Rob and Al, and we love talking pump about glorious shows like the Mandalorian. Enjoy!

It sounds totally ridiculous, bordering on the edge of ludicrous, but both Al and Rob have forgotten the beef of this particular ramble. However, this actually suits perfectly, as the main theme is forgetfulness. What do we do when we forget things? Well, generally speaking, when we forget, we later remember, then often regret. When we regret, we often can't get over it, so we stew in it. Stirring the thickening stewy feeling of regret. Let it bubble away in the oven of our minds until it overcooks into a quivering mass of nothingness. Why can't we just forget the regret?
So that's pretty much what this is. So kick back, relax, and enjoy a hearty spoonful of their Forgetful Regretful Stew.

After a lengthy hiatus the duo are back! Much has happened over the last 5 months for their family, there has been a birth and a wedding! But for Rob and Jinj, life has changed about as much as a pensioner’s encyclopedia collection. So like 2 books on the shelf of life, they lose themselves in singledom before looking to the stars for an answer. Tilting their heads to the sky they are dazzled by the shooting celestial spectre of Meryl Streep, and the trail of her potential relationships! Is Meryl’s ego parsimonious? Does Claude indulge in his. As a matter of fact, what the heck does parsimony even mean! The podcast of riffing about struggling against the little things in life is back! And it feels bloody great. Enjoy!

This weeks episode is all about ice cube trays and dungeons and dragons. Just quietly we also solve capitalism. No big deal really.

Rob has been awaiting the upload of this episode for two days now, and The Jinja Assassin is only getting it done now. Why? Well, one of them is on time and the other is not! Whenever friends find themselves on the opposite ends of the time continuim of punctuatlity, one of them is bound to be bugged by it. And in this particular concoction, a Bug Bear is born!
The duo later partake in their first debate, as they deconstruct Netflix's hot documentary about the 90's Chicago Bulls titled 'The Last Dance.' Is it a stunning piece of documentary film capturing the triumphs, tribulations and tragedies of one of the greatest teams of all time and the greatest player of all time? Or is it a watered down version of events capitalising on the covid-19 quarantine, recycling old information in a new glossy package, for the satisfaction of Michael Jordan's ego?
Have a listen and let the duo know!

How frustrating is it when technology fails you at a time of need? Or even at a time of not so much need? Or hell, just at any time regardless of need! Rob and The Jinja Assassin plug into a few stories of technological inconveniance that may spark embarrassment and frustration, but also, offer a solution for dealing with moments of such mishap. Unleash! By spending a Temper Token! Hit a table, throw a hat, hell, collapse in the middle of a busy thoroughfare at university. Just cash in that Temper Token and watch yourself go hell for leather!!!
They then analyse Jurassic Park like few others would, siding with the underdog Dennis Nedry who just can't seem to catch a break, and rag on Dr Grant because let's face it, dude is a damn bully! From Velociraptors who lack velocity to Dr Hammond's technology lacking autonomy, Rob and Jinja open the gates of their audacity to feed the hunger of their listener's curiosities.
Enjoy!!!

Quarantine you say… Pffttt… For our intrepid travellers Rob and Al (The Jinja Assassin), quarantine is a fertile ground for quirky characters and awkward misadventures to emerge. For others quarantine is a time to thrive. Like John Wick for example. His quarantine is just the calm before a storm of bloody revenge. And for conspiracy theorists? Well the covid-19 pandemic is half price at the all you can eat buffet of crazy.
In this episode we tell some tales, revisit John Wick and provide some space for Rob’s one true love Survivor to video conference its way back into his heart. So rest assured. You’ve found entertainment like Russel Hantz finds a hidden immunity idols. Enjoy.

As the world scrambles in the grip of the global pandemic, Rob and Al (The Jinja Assassin) seek refuge in social isolation. Some of those in the world are still treating this with a casual nonchelance, while others are at Defcon 5! Some world leaders are making great moves, others are, well, Donald Trump...
Despite the clear tensions within our society, our hosts focus on the idea of forgiveness. It's easy to tear each other down, but far more difficult to lift each other up. They hold the microscope over their own current social choices, reflect on their working lives, and magnify the ways in which they are finding ways to spend their time in isolation.
Even though this global pandemic is bad, and is more than likely to become much worst, in time, it will pass.
Like all great suffering, It too shall pass...
