Bill Simmons AKA the pod farther - has been one of the defining faces of NBA media basketball for two decades - His Book of Basketball released in 2009 is a most read for any hoops fan. And before the ringer empire took over the podcast world - Simmons was prolific and brilliant writer -  mainly at his old stomping ground - GrantLand.
