I even said something about it on twitter. The lyrics are pretty awesome. Actually, there are so many quotes saying something like "Love yourself, take care of yourself, and don't compare yourself to others… You have enough. There are so many kids starving to death in Africa and North Korea. What are you talking about? You are happy." Like this. But you know, these words don't make you feel better. Happiness is relative. According to a research called "World Happiness Survey", Bangladesh ranked the first or the second. Bangladesh doesn't have lots of developed skills or technologies, but they are saying that they are the happiest people in the world. This song is about that. About how to love yourself, and what we are missing… It's something you've heard a lot and it's listening to a principle's speech, so you might think it's so cliché. However, I don't think cliché is bad. People talk about it a lot because it's important. The lyrics are full of J. Cole's own words and his own philosophy.
