This week we are joined by our good friend, Brian Ludowese. Many of you have gotten to know the guy we call Ludo through his sense of humor and the incredible banter between he and Bo over at American Family Insurance. When we first talked to him about being on the podcast, his first question was "Why?", followed by a good laugh. This week, we laugh, we cry, and we dig deep. Are you ready for the deep dive?

Admit it. How many of you go in to the new year with a New Year's resolution that doesn't pan out after a few weeks?
In this episode, we are joined by Steve Gasser, Chief Evangelist for Vivid Image, a local web design and marketing agency in Hutchinson. For me, he is a leadership mentor, and more importantly, a good friend. We talk leadership, personal growth and discuss an alternative to that New Year's resolution that we think may just work for you.

This week, it's just the two of us. We have a card "game" that we use on occasion to spark deep conversations with each other.
This week, we introduce you to the cards that hopefully make you think and spark some conversations in your own relationships - both at work and at home.
Curious to know your thoughts. Should we continue down this type of podcast with us and our guests, or do you like them structured a bit more?
Thanks again for listening!

We are so excited to introduce our very first guest to Hometown Conversations, Valerie Mackenthun. Valerie is a resident of Hutchinson and wears many hats in several organizations in Hutchinson. One of those organizations is Historic Hutchinson, whose mission is to restore, preserve and protect the living and structural history and spirit of the Hutchinson area and to showcase those assets for the future. Valerie has been a member of Historic Hutchinson for over ten years.
As Halloween approaches, we talk about some of the "haunted places" around town, and how Historic Hutch is working to keep history alive in Hutchinson.
