About the mixes: No Rain- was composed by Holmes Ives and Seroya in one of the few collaborations that they did together. Sophie & Ives Awaken Instrumental (unreleased) was the original mix that Ives sent to Sophie as a love letter expressing his feelings for her. She then sat with it for days and wrote lyrics and recorded them and sent it back to Ives which spawned there album 'Untie Me'. Lagrimas Negras (unreleased) was composed in December of 2002. Ives had not written a song in over a month as he was waiting for the news as to whether he and his lover were to still be together... the night he got the news that she was in love with someone else, Lagrimas Negras came like a waterfall of tears. Another version of Lagrimas Negras can be found on Holmes Ives presents 'In Love & Light'. Vocalise is a collaboration between Holmes Ives and Amy Domingues. They have recorded many classical pieces together and have released them on several compilation. This composition by Rachmaninoff is an unreleased treasure in the OVA library. Track Listing: 1. Ives' debut downtempo construction began in 1995, the night he let go a nine year relationship. The song "Eyes of Paradise" was bornthat night, The inspiration and the journey of finding and losing love would carry him through until the completion of Satyriasis in 1999. This melancholic melodic journey is layered in intricate musical patterns stemming stylistically from trip-hop, down-tempo, intelligent drum'n'bass. The album bore fruit to the dance music scene with the track, "Sublimation". It was signed to Shaken Not Stirred Records in 1998 and was followed by the signing of "Ovation" in '99, both songs feature the vocals of Devika. "Eros", which was originally composed in 1996 has been remixed as an ambient piece by Ives for the Tetrasomia circus show in 2001 and is featured on the album "Tetrasomia". Eros was to be remixed yet again by Ives and this time as a Progressive House tune which was signed to Yoshitoshi/Shinichi records in 2001.
