On this episode of the Hold your Breath Podcast we finish up our conversations with Captain Timothy Stolinski.Tim writes a blog called Poptarts and a Pistol where he shares his thoughts, and works to bridge the Civil Military divide, and he also spear head's a project we've been working on called "Band of Bards", a non-profit meant to document the experiences of Veterans that would typically go unheard. Tim reflects with me on our youth growing up in Dunkirk, NY. We delve a little into our family histories, and how my Grandfather's U.S. Army hat smells like his head, to this day.

This time around on the Hold Your Breath Podcast we're going to talk to my friend Tim Stolinski. Tim is an Iraqi war veteran who joined the United States Military after the events of 9/11.
Upon leaving the military, Captain Stolinski attended college at St. Bonaventure University. Tim is someone I admire, as he has constantly worked to better himself. He's educated, experienced, and opinionated. Currently Tim is working to bring more attention to the Civil/Military divide, hoping to bridge that gap through his blog, experiences, and non-profit. This episode is a two-parter, and in the first half we talk about his experiences after 9/11, growing up prejudiced in Western NY, and how he learned to correct that trajectory.

Hi Everyone, My name is Chris and this is the inaugural episode of the Hold Your Breath Podcast. I was looking for something fun to do with my friends, and since this pandemic doesn't seem to be ending anytime soon I figured I'd take the opportunity to catch up with them and see what kinds of cool things they are doing with all this extra time. I'm not sure where the format of this project will go in the future, but I'm looking forward to creating more episodes.
In this episode I talk with my old band mates Ryan Arocraci and Tory Stevens. We played together as The Apology for about 5 years, recorded an insane number of songs, and did everything to promote this band before Myspace was even a thing.
