A living connection with God that produces the anointing that enables us to lay hold of all wonderful things God has provided us through Jesus Christ. Divine encounter with God positions us to experience God personally, not just to know about Him, but to know.The encounter at the "Ford of Jabbok," produced in Jacob a life filled with the Word and the voice of God, a life that abided in God every day and feasted on His promises,a life that dwells in His presence. But most importantly an encounter with God that allowed a safe space for Jacob to empty and pour out a tormenting and besetting sin of more than twenty years which could be summed up in one word: Esau! for his passing over.

Forgiveness is a source of emotional health and freedom. It has the power to set us free from hurts of the past, whether we are talking about ten years.Forgiveness is key to Christian lives.

We can only love others by receiving and expressing God's love.Expressing radical love that is both patient and kind unsettles the Kingdom of darkness and the Devil himself. The world is seeking after and crying for the goodness and kindness of the LORD, and this requires Christians who are addicted with love in their walk,talk and therefore blessing it with kindness.Expressing patience and kindness as Christians in the way we talk to people, how we treat them,what we do or don't do for them expresses fuller comprehension and understanding of who God is in our lives. Giovanni Papini in quote said; "There are those who have a desire to love,but do not have the capacity to love." Thank that we have the "capacity to love" through the enabling power of God the Holy Spirit. 1 Thessalonians 3:12

We are to love one another as Christ loved us and this means not by our will power but by abiding in the light - Christ the source of power. In Leviticus the ability to love was punctuated on man's will power which often times proved to be difficult because we come to realize that there are certain people who are impossible to love.In Romans 5:5 we learn that the new life a believer receives includes a new capacity to love like Christ loves,for a believer now has living within him the unconditional, sacrificial, forgiving, eternal and holy love of God.

Unpreparedness and lack of perseverance caused the five foolish virgins not to partake in the wedding feast, the door to be shut on them and being denied by the Lord. The church needs to guard against false security as we see in Revelation 3.Many are lulled by their reputation and walk large and tall but yet no fruit of righteousness, many are defiled and their names not found in the book of life.The church of Jesus Christ universally need to be ready for the second coming and not found not occupying their space just like the five foolish virgins.The church need to take heed,watch and pray against Sanballat and Tobiah spirit (spirit of distraction and destruction and its accusatory nature)

The word translated "watch" means " To have the alertness of a guard at night." Watchman is a vigilant person who uses all his senses to detect danger from afar.Watchfulness talks to sleeplessness. In this episode we will be looking at what is watchfulness, characteristics of a watchful person and what is it that we need to be watchful of.

Watchful and Prayerful believers are always plucked on or into the Source. Always alert because of their connectivity to the LORD through their unceasingly prayerful life.They are able to fend off the enemy from afar and denying him(the devil) an opportunity to establish his foothold in their lives.

How do we use the "Durable Power of Attorney" and not just the "Power of Attorney," in getting our prayers answered. And why using His Name so significant in our prayer life or approaching the "Throne Room" of God.

Faith one unvarying prerequisite of approaching God in prayer. Confidence and Believe in the Person of the "Truine" God is critical to our answered prayers ( believe in the Goodness, Faithfulness and Reliability of God). The basis thereof is having a Relationship with God founded on Trust and less to do with religion nor theology. It is about having the "right picture of God."
