Today's episode is a little bit shorter than the others. I give a brief background on the legend of the Unicorn and will be expanding on this information on next weeks episode about the history of poison. Enjoy!

Today's story is about a couple who decided they were entitled to the fortune of their friend and felt the need to take his life. Their grisly act would result in their deaths and leave a lasting effect on those who witnessed their hangings. 

The Attack of the Dead Men was a battle between the Germans and Russians in Poland during World War I. The Fortress held no significant value for either side's strategy but created a distraction that allowed the Russians to move their forces through Poland without German interference. This battle truly is a nightmare that came to life. 

Chevalier d'Eon lived a fascinating and adventurous life full of secrets and rumors. d'Eon's life raises the question: Does society really change?  Or were the important social issues of today prevalent through our past? d'Eon is certainly a character and worked their entire life to be who they knew they truly were only to be a topic of gossip on their death bed.
