I came to the pod late in the game, watched bits of king of the hill as a kid waiting for other shows to play but in the middle of covid decided to give it a try. I’m glad I did because I found these ladies who have such a passion and are so hilarious! Glad to have them back and that they are well!

King of the Hill fans, whether you are rewatching the series for the umpteenth time or newcomers to the series this podcast is a MUST listen. I was never a fan of podcasts until I started listening to this one and it’s absolutely fantastic! Amy & Jackie are spectacular hosts. Their chemistry as friends shines so brightly and their superb comedic strengths keep each episode hilarious from start to finish. They go above and beyond as hosts and I could listen to them talk about one of my favorite shows endlessly. Recaps of the show’s episodes are amazing and are further enhanced with such fascinating anecdotes from the hosts and listeners, including listener comment songs. In addition to covering episodes of K.O.T.H. they also interview members of the production including animation master, Wes Archer and the voice of Peggy Hill, the legendary Kathy Najimy. Subscribing to their Patreon is worth every penny and full of awesome bonus content. With the revival just around the corner, dig into this treasure chest of a podcast. It’s more fun than a Mega Lo Mart size case of fruit pies.

I just found this podcast and while I mourn knowing there will be an end, I am treasuring each episode like a fine wine that was only produced for a certain amount of time and I only had enough money to get one bottle. Amy and Jackie, you rock, and Amy, your laugh is incredible! HO YEAH!

Loved the first couple of seasons but got off topic towards the end.

I have watched king of the hill since I was little with my family. My whole family especially my mom loves it. We would watch it all the time and as I’ve gotten older the more I really analyze the episodes. Me and my mom like to discuss the show so I love to here other people love and discuss the show the way me and my family do, make me think of happy times.

This podcast is two girls who think they are funny and talk about King of the Hill for like ten minutes. Sadly the podcast goes on for over an hour.

I’ll be dipped if this isn’t the laugh-out-loudest, constipation-loosening, dang ol BEST podcast in my library. Listening to Amy laugh cured my depression. Ladies, thank you from the bottom of my pocket sand for making my favorite show 10X more enjoyable. HO YEAH!

I gotta admit I found this podcast late, but better late than never. As a long time KOTH watcher I never knew there were people about there who were as obsessed with this show as I am. This podcast is the highlight of my day, I listen during my morning workout, throughout the day while I work, and even before I go to bed. These two ladies are not only a breath of fresh air they are funny and they know their stuff when it comes to this amazing show. Keep it up ladies!!

Great podcast that discusses a great show as well as whatever else comes into the quirky host’s minds. These women are very cognizant of how the show has aged and has no issue with talking about some of the more complicated points, but still keeps the podcast as lighthearted as the show. It really feels like listening to two friends talk about a hilarious show. They love their listeners as much as they love the Hills. Just starting the fourth season now and catching up as quickly as I can!

Inconsistent and annoying

When I discovered this podcast, I was over the moon with excitement. I am a big King of the Hill fan and getting the opportunity to hear these two ladies talk about the past episodes of the show has been an amazing experience. They have me cracking up all the time when I listen to them. Though I may be starting about two years behind on episodes, I’m absolutely proud to be a listener of them and to now be a supporter of them on Patreon! This is an awesome King of the Hill podcast. The ladies do an amazing job of covering each episode. It feels like they’re getting along. Also to the dads out there with shy sons, this podcast really shows that women conversate just as freely as men do. Harinder K.

I’ll start by saying I am pretty anti-podcast. I’ve never found a podcast that I can actually listen to without zoning out and feeling like I’m listening to two strangers have a conversation that I’m not a part of. That said, I LOVE this podcast. I drove 11 hours from Florida to Virginia this past weekend and listened to Amy and Jackie the entire time and laughed the whole way. Thank you for letting me fly with you on your beautiful hotdog wings. Keep up the good work!

Best part of my hour daily drive (besides waving at the cows) these ladies are hilarious along with being smart and insightful of a show I grew up on and keep in the background of my adult life, just listened to “To Kill A Ladybird” and all the freaky Deaky deets, can’t wait to listen to more!

I asked for true crime podcast recommendations and someone recommended this one to me…it wasn’t what I asked for but it’s absolutely what I needed! I’ve been a massive King of the Hill fan for years and never find anyone who shares my obsession but this podcast is perfect! Every episode makes me laugh out loud. And I have to say they’ve made me a reformed-Peggy hater. Their perspective has made me rethink Peggy and come to appreciate her so much more! Perfect podcast for anyone looking for a laugh

I’m a life long fan of King of the Hill and I feel like I’m in like minded company listening to the podcast. I’m working through the backlog and it’s a good time. Bonus points for having cast and crew on the show.

Don’t get me wrong, this podcast is very entertaining. The ladies have such love for KOTH and the Patreon shout-out skits are hilarious. So why 3 stars? 1. The tangents stop the episodes dead. 2. I wish I had a dollar every time the word “like” is used. Despite that, I still highly recommend this podcast for KOTH fans.

I started this podcast last summer in 2020 and I know I’m way behind. I’m on episode 36 “junky business” and when it started with Too Close I had major junior high flash backs. You mentioned that song came out on April 26, 1998 and I think it was Jackie that said something horrible probably happened on that date…it did. I know you’re not California based but “April 26, 1992…there was a riot on the streets tell me where were you?” Sound familiar? And fun fact that’s my moms birthday. Love you both and your laugh is so infectious I can’t help but laugh with you even if I missed what was said. i first want to preface this review with the fact that i have been a long time listener of podcasts generally and this one in particular, and this is my first time writing a review! i immediately felt comfortable and excited by hearing amy and jackie commentate episodes, go off on hilarious tangents, and talk about a show that has always been a special interest of mine. it wasn’t long before i was binge listening, subscribed to the patreon, and a part of their facebook community. let me say that i am IN LOVE and felt so welcomed and seen by amy and jackie themselves! i now feel like there’s an inner dialogue for sharing these inside jokes and love of KOTH; i could go on endlessly but the tldr; is SUPPORT THESE FABULOUS LADIES!!! and take a listen! -tartuffe, the spry wonderdog

I discovered this podcast a few months after it’s release, and fell in love. Unfortunately my life had a busy schedule so I was lucky when I got to listen. Flash forward to a month ago I took a night auditing job where I could finish 2 to 3 episodes a night. These ladies have me laughing out loud until I am in tears. I am sad to say as an adult I do not have any friends, and they make me feel like I’m having girl bonding while also talking about one of my all time favorite shows. Thank you for an amazing podcast. I was waiting until I was completely caught up to become a patreon, and proud to say that’s happening this week! I look forward to seeing this podcast continue to grow as it has. Ho Yeah!!

This podcast is everything I could need and want in a podcast! I started watching king of the hill with my brother when I was young and it has always been a comfort show, after losing one of my best friends this August, this podcast has turned into my comfort. My BF always called me the Luanne to his lucky, no he didn’t slip on pee-pee at the Costco. Jackie and Amy are such wonderful and funny women that I never want to stop listening! Dang ole thank you :)

I was a late bloomer and started listening in March 2021. It is now September 2021 and I have finally listened to all available episodes on Spotify. You ladies crack me up and make me feel like you’re part of my friend group. Excellent content, even the grossness because things like that come up in my conversations with my friends on the regular (that’s what happens when you’re a nurse, you discuss bodily functions like you would any other dining room table conversation). Love this dang ol podcast dang ol yep. These two ladies are great and it’s seriously like they’d be my two best friends. KOTH is one of my go-to background shows and it’s so cool to listen to other women rave about it and laugh at how goofy it can be sometimes. I haven’t fully caught up yet because I’m a slow podcast listener in general but I’m getting there. I’m glad you two are together physically now and how we got to see that progression in real time. You ladies are doing such a great job with this. My older sister and I grew up in a small texas town watching KOTH. I remember talking about how Peggy was the worst character and my sister would always insist that was what made her the BEST character. My sister passed away a few years ago and since then I haven’t really had anyone to share my love of this show with. She would have loved this podcast and yall remind me of her a lot. Thank you for helping me feel connected to her again and for giving me something I thought I lost.

Let me start with I can’t stand podcasts but wow this is pure addicting. Jackie and Amy are incredible host. From koth to personal stories it’s very entertaining. Keep up the great work gals!

Like your King of the Hill discussions liberally sprinkled with terms like “white privilege, toxic masculinity, cultural appropriation, internalized misogyny, conservatives evil and liberals good”? This is the podcast for you Those of you who just wanted a podcast to laugh, kick back and enjoy this awesome show with fellow fans will have to look elsewhere. It’s exhausting listening to these two whine and be offended constantly instead of just understanding it’s a comedy show and sometimes it’s ok to laugh at yourself once in awhile.

Goes so far off topic constantly can’t hum a theme song to save their lives and completely a wast of time for any true fan to listen too

Ho Yeah Pod is, in my opinion, a podcast about King of the Hill and is a must listen for people who love the show; or as I call them: “fans.” Episode recaps, interviews with actors and crew from the show, in depth dives into characters and themes - HoYeah Pod has it all! The two hosts also bring their wonderful personalities and friendship into the mix and invite tons of listener input and content so each episode is really an appreciation for the people who love KoTH as much as it is about the episode itself. You need to listen, Sug!

I have not laughed so hard during a podcast ever! I love KOTH and these ladies do NOT disappoint!! Give all the episodes a listen, You won’t regret it!!

You don't get that with a clean burning fuel, but you do get one Hill of a podcast. A perfect mixture of social commentary, poo jokes, and sometimes a little discussion of King of the Hill. Of all the podcasts about KotH, this is one of them. I will never look at 400 gallons of liquid the same ever again.

This is an awesome podcast! It like listening to your goof ball friends talk about your favorite show. Arlen in Darlin’ and so are the hosts!

Wing-go!!!! These ladies bring such a spirit of joy into my ears. I’m currently rewatching KoTH after nearly a decade and it’s a pleasure watching the show and revisiting classic episodes with them.

I love this podcast so much. I am late to the party, just started listening in Apr 2021 and am so excited, I could gush like a dolphin propelling 15 feet out of the dang ol water, that I still have over a years worth to catch up. When these ladies talk king of the got dang hill I feel like someone is going downtown with me and enjoying the ride. I want to reach in for pocket sand, among other things, while listening to this fun ride. Great job ladies and HO FAH-REEKING YEAH!
