So So Good
You all are a hilarious, wonderful band of people. I love the show, the adventure, the acting, and the goofs. Thank you so much for putting this together. I hope my show can be half as good as this one.

Worth it
Ridiculous. Thoroughly entertaining. I have truly enjoyed the ride. When a podcast repeatedly elicits an audible reaction, you know it’s good.
They are all literally at the table and that makes all the difference. It is the next best thing to actually playing.
I am eagerly anticipating the final (s?)
Apologies to Wes and the gang for waiting until the end to give a review. I don’t often write reviews.

Friggin Fantastic, 5 stars, 10/10, 100% rating on rotten tomatoes
I love this podcast so much. I discovered them through Instagram when they liked my DnD art, and when I chanced to give them a listen I was far from disappointed. Everyone is sweet, funny, and filled with enthusiasm about their characters and the campaign. The story and setting is described tactically and wonderfully, with a fully immersive and engaging world filled with creative NPCs and diverse regions. The podcast and players have you sitting on the edge of your seat, as well as falling off your chair from laughter. It’s easy to root for everyone in the party as they go on their journey to save the world. Please give Hit Dice a listen, especially now before this campaign’s final arc. You won’t regret it!

One of the best!
I’ve listened to a ton of D&D podcasts over the past few years and Hit Dice is honestly one of the very best. Great characters, really good DM-ing, and a super fun story. Hits the perfect balance of taking the story and characters seriously while also having a ton of fun! Definitely recommend.
Dr. Pockets
My Favorite D&D Podcast!
Entertaining, creative, polished, descriptive, thoughtful, and fun!
I love that it is also reliably produced each week.
Kwyjibo the Embiggened
I can’t recommend it enough!
Edit to original review: it’s still as amazing at it was when started listening if not better! I’ve tried to listen to other D&D podcasts when I get caught up on hit dice and I can’t ever get into them because in my opinion they just aren’t as good...
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I really love hit dice! I try to listen to it everyday when I commute to work and it makes the drive so fun that Half the time I’m looking forward to leaving work just so I can go back to Ravensbluff and hear about that goddamn buffalo that I love so much! Keep doing what you’re doing! Wes is an awesome DM and the party is hilarious. I would love to see some close ups of the minis or some simple drawings so I could get a better grasp on what the characters might looks like. If you like DND or you are trying to figure out if you like DND give it a listen and tell your friends!

Worth the investment
I met some of the players at a con. I had just started playing and was super intrigued by this. I had never heard of a D&D podcast before. This journey was super worth it and super educational. I’m super pumped to use the things I learned here.

“America’s favorite Dungeons & Dragons podcast”
The DM says it at the start of most of the episodes, so it must be true.
I think it’s pretty good.

It not the best live play D&D podcast but it is still really well done

Best podcast ever

Deadflame9
By far my favorite D&D podcast!
You gotta listen if you like great character development, fun people and the most amazing storyteller. These guys are awesome!
Rianreneeipad
Amazing podcast for any level character!
So I want to start off by saying that I loved this podcast so much that I re-downloaded the Apple podcasts app just so I could leave a review!
Also, I don’t have a lot of experience with playing DnD, but I do love podcasts, and this one has got a great blend of both!! The quality of this podcast starts out high and just gets better as they move into their new studio! And, the campaign they are playing through has amazing plot points, twists, and keeps up with NPC’s they met before!
After listening to the first episode, once I had met them at a local convention, I didn’t want to take me eye buds out, and I listened to al 52-53 episodes in about a week! That’s how good this podcast is!!
With all the jokes and banter between the players and their characters, I truest feel like I know these guys personally!
I can’t wait to see and hear to what they have coming down the pipe-line!!

Darn good so far
I just started listening, but I’m really enjoying it so far. The story is intriguing. The characters are interesting. The players and DM genuinely seem to be having a great time. It’s all you can ask for in an actual play podcast.

Love this podcast
Love the player interactions and everyone’s backstory. Really cool story I’m so excited to see where it continues to go. The quality of this podcast is sooooo good too!

Great podcast
Really helped me understand D and D!

Nice addition to the D&D podcasts!
These guys have learned from other actual play podcasts and tried to fix their audio issues right off the bat. Also, the world building is super intriguing. I’m really interested in where the story goes!

Easily the Best
I'll be completely honest, I listen to this podcast on an android device, and trying to figure out how to get to a place where I can actually leave a review of this podcast was an absolute pain. But if there was ever a podcast that was worth it, it's definitely this one. This is the podcast is the one that made me realize that I wanted to DM, and motivated me to actually get up and find the supplies so that I could plan my first campaign. If you're not listening to the podcast yet, do it. Wes and the crew, thank you, from the bottom of my D&D loving heart.

D&D
A podcast worthy of multiple reviews. An amazing crew taking the listeners on a fun and imaginative adventure. Couldn’t ask for a better podcast to listen to help you get through your day.

Fun, Digestable, D&D

Good Stuff
Amusing. Engaging. What more could you really want?
Paddywagon1234
Absolutely hilarious actual play.
I was going to leave an in depth review but they created a metal version of “Guy on a Buffalo” ... that should be all you need. (Great show, great DM and great audio quality doesn’t hurt.)

A masterpiece of audio genius
This is the end-all be-all of Actual Play DnD podcasting. The DM? Brilliant. The cast? Amazing. Audio quality? Terrific and gets even better as you work your way through the archive.
Give it a listen. Subscribe. You’ll love it.

Sick AF
Goodness gracious this thang sick AF. As some one who has never played d&d but has always been a fan of the woo woo and fantasy this pod cast is amazing.
The DM has clearly taken a lot of time to create these stories and appears to really care about having fun throughout the campaigns. And the characters have so much chemistry it makes for an excellent listen.
This podcast has also inspired me to go buy some dice and I’ll begin logging some hours of D&D soon.

Do yourself a favor and listen to Hit Dice. Now.
It’s difficult to put my love for this podcast into words but I will do my best.
The highest praise that I think I can give is that it feels like you’re sitting down at the table with this group. You’re in on every inside joke. You can feel the tension when a daunting enemy is faced. Their triumphs feel like your own.
These adventurers start from humble beginnings, and hearing them grow more powerful and capable is such a joy. The campaign has moved along at a perfect pace, the difficulty ramping up in a way that feels entirely natural. The world is full of characters as varied and robust as any game I’ve seen, and I love some of them just as much as the main characters.
This podcast has made me laugh out loud with delight, gasp in surprise, and even has me blinking back tears in the darkest of moments. I care deeply about each and every character, and especially about the players and dungeon master who bring this wonderful story to life.
Please, do yourself a favor. Pull up a chair and sit at the Hit Dice table. Laugh and delight in the antics prepared for you. You won’t regret it.

Easy to follow and fun to listen to
HitDicePod is quickly becoming one of my go to’s for D&D live play. Combat is unique and refreshing, and RP is well thought out. Great job!

IM MELLTtttiinngg!!
I’m melting because the ending of episode 39 was AWESOME! But honestly, they are all awesome. They have everything you need in an actual play podcast—great story, great encounters, great RP, and inspiring descriptions of setting and creatures.

Great Characters and Story!
Started this podcast recently and I am loving it! Wes does a great job creating a world for these characters to live in, and there is so much fun roleplaying between them! Plus the great audio quality makes it even better to listen to! Great job guys :)

Awesome!
My friends your backstories are awesome! (When I heard Adelaide’s, I was in awe of how bad-a** it was! And of course the Man on the Buffalo is wonderful). I’m really excited to see where all of you guys go! You got another subscriber! :D

One of the greats out there.
From the start, Hitdice hit the ground running with great characters and one of the most natural feeling in a home game I have listened. The sound quality is fantastic. The players work so well together and sharing their story’s
Wes the DM does an okay job...just kidding he does a wonderful job telling a tale and pushing the story going without ever forcing the player to do so.
It took me about a month to get up to where they are at now and I can’t wait for the next episode.
Hitdice. Thank you for being apart world of podcast. I have laughed till tears and I have fears for the lives of players and I have always been captured by the story. So thank you for doing all you do. Keep it up.

More Like "Critical Hit Dice!" Get it?
What a great podcast. Every episode is fun from start to finish. The players all bring excellent nuance to their characters. Nuance might not be the right word for Guy … what’s another word for absolutely not subtle, but entirely idiosyncratic and enjoyable? Any way, this group clicks and that comes out in stories that leave you wanting more, more, more.
Wild Endeavors Crew
A New Favorite
This group is having a lot of fun together and that fun translate directly into your listening holes. Irrevent characters, funny interactions, enthralling story, and intro music that makes you want to jump up and go adventuring. You can't ask for much more.

5 stars
Five stars and they all love playing dungeons and dragons! Great show!

Great
I listen to a lot of real play podcasts, but this is one of the best at capturing the feel of the table. The group has a great chemistry that doesn’t feel scripted or faked at all, which is tough to do in this genre.

Simply Entertaining
I stumbled across Hit Dice! at random looking for a new D&D podcast to listen to at work. I downladed the first three episodes and I was immediatly hooked on the charaters and the story. Can't wait for more! If you love adventure, colorful characters, wacky voices then this is the podcast for you!

Easily the Best D&D Podcast out there
As far as Roleplay and Real Play podcasts go, Hit Dice is one of the greatest. The DM Wes is phenomenal at adapting to the ongoing choices of his players, who are all likewise very good at getting into character, and being true to who they're playing. The story is engaging, exciting, and takes very interesting twists and turns. The production quality is also at the top of the charts, with careful editing to make sure that the substance is all golden, and incredible foley work to add that extra atmosphere. If I could rate it 6 stars, I would, but I'll just say this: The ONLY reason I just downloaded iTunes and signed in after several years of refusing to use this service is so that I could rate this podcast. Great job folks, please keep it up.

Witty and fun
I was just reading the reviews, (what else am I supposed to do between episodes?!) and realized I hadn’t left a review!! I have never played D&D, but I would love to now! It seems like an amazing fun way to spend an evening. Of course listening to this podcast is definitely a great way to spend the evening. The characters and descriptions are full and form a wonderful picture in your minds eye. It is almost like listening to an audio book! Keep up the great work guys!

Listen to Hit Dice!
Hit Dice makes me feel like I’m sitting around the table with my friends, laughing and rolling our dice and scoring critical successes and failures. These characters have layers to them, and it’s interesting to see them peeled back and exploring a new aspect of someone we’ve come to love. The memorable NPC’s are plentiful and wonderful. The DM has a talent for beautifully describing the surrounding environments. The players are all charming and each bring their own personal flair to the episodes. I would without hesitation recommend Hit Dice to anyone looking to fill their Dungeons and Dragons needs.

Awesome Just Awesome
First I never played DnD I found this podcast from one of my favorites The Gralien Report. If you into Dnd I am sure this would be right up your alley. For those that are thinking about Dnd give it a listen.

Listen & Laugh!
I'm a sucker for GM voices and players having fun & Hit Dice hits it out of the park! The GM word paints a great picture and player banter keeps things lively and moving along. Favorite shout out to Guy on the Buffalo (and, of course, Buffalo) for vocal and comic hilarity!
Pen O Smiting
Binge worthy!
I love, love this podcast. The chemistry of the cast is so perfect. The characters are all very endearing and so much fun to listen to. They don't take themselves too seriously, but are very good at keeping the story moving. The DM is a creative genious. He can handle any situation and is so good at what he does. I can't recommend this podcast more. I've been listening to a lot of podcasts lately, so that I can spotlight the good ones on my podcast, Nerds from Nowhere. I can't wait to feature this podcast in our next episode and look forward to future episodes.

Amazing Adventure
I absolutely love listening to this podcast. The description the the DM gives really helps the listener imagine what’s going on. Each character in the story line has their own unique personality that fits very well with the story and it’s packed with adventure and funny/quirky things along the way while also being pretty serious too. Love the podcast and keep up the amazing stories :)

The best
This is hands down the best 5E D&D podcast out there, the world is unique, the challenges are epic (while still being appropriate to their level), and the characters are very developed. I cannot wait till Wed when new episodes come out.

Great podcast.
. Great story. Fun characters. listening to this podcast has helped a ton in my first DMing experience. About half the time when a player asks “can I do this?” The rule explanation from your podcast pops into my head. Plus the show is great
