I love listening to this podcast while I'm at work. It keeps me ACTUALLY working and I laugh too. This makes my day go by so much faster. I just want more episodes!! :)

I really like the subjects this podcast covers and all the information I get from them. I just really wish they would be better about their mic work and sound engineering. Sometimes they get very loud and are literally screamin into the microphone which make pretty much anything they are saying or doing in audible becuase I'm either scrambling to turn the volume down or pulling my headphones off for fear of hearing loss. The jokes to hosts tell as they are talking about the history are funny enough (an interesting mix of dad jokes and jokes your pervy uncle would tell) but the jokes and "reenactments" have gotten just ridiculous. Againt because of the poor sound balancing half the time it sounds like they are just screaming and making unintelligible sounds and other times its just offensive accents. I honestly didn't mind the reenactments in the first episode or two (maybe cause they were doing British accents so i could actually understand what was being said) but as we've moved on to other parts of the world and other parts of history the re-enactments are so terrible and cacophanous that I just end up skipping through them to get to the next segment. I gave them 4 stars because I will always be a sucker history podcasts (especial comedic history podcasts) but there is definitely room for improvement.

I love history podcasts, I must subscribe to 30 of them. But this format with the silly banter is so time consuming and the use of sound effects particularly jarring on the ears when wearing headphones. Great topics, I’ll grant, but this kind of format went out of style in 1989 with New York morning commute AM radio. Please watch your VU meters, keep the levels stable and stop trying to be funny. You aren’t.

Keep up the good work guys. You make me laugh a lot but still manage to keep me interested for long enough to finish the ironing!
