I really enjoy the wide array of topics, geographic regions, and skill levels discussed, from the casual day hiker to attacking the most intense though hikes. The message is always positive and terminology is basic and lingo explained so hikers are all levels can understand.

Found this podcast by chance and am so glad I did ... Lori is a great interviewer and she asks the questions you’re thinking about as the interview progresses. Love her shows on the Smokies but she covers so many other areas in the country too. Thank you Lori and can’t wait for the next one to drop!

It’s been great listening to the Hike podcast. Great interviews on hikes that I’ve been interested in and the host asks all of the questions that I’ve also wondered on trail. One of the hardest things about being a hardcore hiker is finding someone that’s at your same level of interest so it’s nice to find a podcast that matched my love for the outdoors. Thanks for the 100 podcasts and taking me on so many great journeys. Cheers!

Lori does an amazing job of informing hikers and backpackers of not only great places to explore, but also provides solid gear and outdoors advice for beginners and experts alike. Also a fellow Midwesterner so that gives this podcast a few bonus points.

I have listened to all of Season 1 and most of Season 2 and this is the best hiking podcast I have found. Lori is a great interviewer and she allows the hiker to share their experience. She focuses on all types of hikers from thru-hikers to weekend warriors from all over North America. If you haven’t listened you are missing out.

Thank you for taking us out there! Loved the last episode on the Wonderland Trail! I had been on a day hike to Rainier and now have so much more information on the larger WT!

This has quickly become one of my favorite hiking podcasts. Good variety of trails featured and a good variety of hikers- young and old and from all kinds of demographics. I really enjoyed the episode about the Florida Trail. I like hearing in depth info about one spot because it makes me want to go check it out. Keep up the good work; it is appreciated!

I enjoy this podcast a lot. I have learned about so many hiking and trail related programs not to mention about many trails I have never even heard of. Lori invites very interesting guests that are just so passionate about what they do. Makes me want to jump out of my work chair and hit the trail!

Great start for a podcast that is less than one year out there! Knowing there are many other outdoor related shows like Lori’s, I like listening to her voice, so if it’s okay to overlap topics, I’d love to hear from outdoor people who have gotten training to be back country guides, wilderness rescue workers and if one could make a livelihood or just a hobby from doing this. Maybe an interview with a company that trains guides?
