Emily Ford recently completed a winter thru-hike of the Ice Age Trail, becoming the second person - and the first woman - to thru hike the trail during the winter time. Emily and Diggin's journey has inspired others. We have a candid conversation about the importance of taking care of your mental heath, the loneliness of thru-hiking and the drive that kept her out on the trail during the coldest months. Emily talks about the bond she created with Diggins and how tough it was to let her go at the trail's end.
