I found these guys after looking for podcasts about Elden Ring and Shadow of the Erdtree. What a find! Somehow they make you feel like you’re a part of all their inside jokes and it makes for a really fun listen. Bravo guys. You have a dedicated listener in me.

Long time listener of Hawes’ other podcast Blue Harvest (Star Wars). Love that dudes personality and uuh overall vibe? As a lad who has played video games for the majority of his life (started with the N64/PS1). Its nice listening to Hawes and Steve cover eras I never experienced, shared nostalgia of eras I grew up playing myself and current games we all love. Incredibly similar experiences when it comes to Xbox consoles, I like that! They are full of knowledge and gaming experience. Seeeeesh just check these fun guys out!

The hosts, Hawes and Steve, have a great banter with each other in every episodes. These two are friends, and it shows. If you’re looking for a podcast that reviews all the latest games for every platform, keep scrolling cause this ain’t it. But if you wanna hear two good dudes just having an unscripted conversation about the games they’re into, with a little bit of irreverent humor, and a hazy cloud of Stoney baloney smoke, this is the one for you! Hey guys, loving the podcasts. Got to say my favorite segments are the stories of early gaming. Totally hits home. Especially the days of SNES and Genesis. Just got a quick question though, what do you think is the best console generation and what console won that generation? I personally think the generation with Xbox 360, PS3, and Wii was the best generation with the 360 taking the crown. Just my opinion, what are your thoughts?

This show has moved to the top of my “must listen” rotation because the hosts are bringing you in on their good time. Sure, I love video games, but listening to Steve and the other guy having a blast is what makes this so much fun. There’s something in here for just about everyone.
