On today's episode, I got to chat with Isabelle, who lives in Washington and is passionate about supporting women in sports. She shares her athletic background in soccer and basketball, her current coed indoor soccer league, and why she primarily watches women’s basketball and soccer. Isabelle breaks down Unrivaled, a WNBA off-season 3v3 league designed to keep players competitive at home with better facilities and pay, and discusses ongoing WNBA CBA negotiations around salary cap and revenue share. We also touch on the public reaction to the recent Olympic hockey controversy, Isabelle’s hopes for raising her daughter, Kennedy, with confidence and equality, and our shared experiences growing up with sisters. Finally, we discuss how Isabelle built her social media career, her approach to being a leader versus a manager, and navigating gender bias at work.
