In this episode, Katie is joined by Tom Lansdowne. Tom currently works for Butternut Box and he talks about his journey to get to where he is today. As an economics student, he decided not to go for the career options that were set out for him and instead he created founded a start-up with his co-founders. For Tom this meant he had to move back in with his parents after university and spend his weekends working another job, putting most of what he was earning back into his business. Katie and Tom chat about what it is like moving back in with your parents after university and Tom gives some tips on personal finances. Finally, Tom talks about how his start-up ended and how he sees it as success in helping in build his career.
