We need to turn up the voice of God, when we're talking about the hot topic of women in ministry, women in leadership and we need His voice in every situation we are facing. Do we know when God is speaking? To hear Him, we'll have to lean in to hear. And we will know because peace comes with His direction.

It's halloween and nothing can seem scarier than satan's schemes. He is the prince of darkness, the father of lies and wants us to believe that our enemies are those who hurt us. But there is truth about who is our real enemy and we have the power through Jesus to defeat him.

Leadership. We need good leaders! And there are certain qualities that people need to have to kill it when leading other people. I'm sharing 5 of my favorites and also the 5 ways that we can suck at it. Take a listen and let's all vow to lead better and lead well.

Single moms know the sting of rejection. And oh how it hurts! But what if we realized that rejection teaches, too. The world's rejection is oftentimes God's protection. Joseph shows us so much about rejection through his story in the Bible, in Genesis 37-45. God worked in Joseph’s behind the scenes and promoted and protected him in the most amazing ways. As daughters of the King, He wants to do the same for us.

God created work and it's a gift. Since the beginning of time, we've been given a job to do. And until the end of time we will need to work. But, we can use our work as an opportunity to worship. Tune in to this episode to learn why and how to worship through our work.

Overspiritualizing and overwatering can both be harmful. Let's learn how to not do either and instead lean into living naturally in the supernatural. We can make people feel over it all, if we’re not careful. Learning to be aware of our overspiritualization is another way we grow in spiritual maturity. Jesus tells us that pruning is for something...to grow us and so that we will bear more fruit. Are we embracing the process of pruning? It can hurt and even look devastating but pruning is so healthy, necessary and good. In the end, the fruit (of the Spirit) is more beautiful than if our good Gardener had left us to our selves. Pivoting-to adjust or improve or modify. Single mamas are constantly pivoting and as much as we would like things to be a little less chaotic, there truly is power in the pivot. Where we’re headed and the goals God has for us requires us to adapt. You’re doing good mamas. Really, really good. 👏

Bloom where you are planted. But also embrace where you are transplanted. The right conditions help us grow and bloom and sometimes we bloom most beautiful when the conditions are ugly.
