SHOW NOTES:This is round 2 - a follow-up conversation with Crystal Zabka-Belsky. If you can, listening to round 1 might be helpful. Do so, here: https://heycoachpodcast.com/crystal In this episode, we used questions from our listeners to get specific about hydration and carbs before and after a workout or competition. As we learned in our first conversation with Crystal, she’s wicked smart. She has an uncanny ability to take a complex topic like nutrition and put it into a clear and concise way for coaches, athletes, and parents to quickly understand and immediately put it into practice.NUGGETS OF INTEREST:2:42: What to do if an athlete doesn’t like sports drinks7:21: Sodium 101 for training and competition10:18: Signs of dehydration18:44: The down-low on urine (yes, pee!)22:17: A day of competition...what to drink and when--FOLLOW KEPPA, ANDREW, + ZAC:Facebook.com/AndrewNauenburgFacebook/com/GetKeppaInstagram.com/AndrewNauenburgInstagram.com/ZacDominguezInstagram.com/GetKeppaTwitter.com/AndrewNauenburgTwitter.com/ZacDominguezTwitter.com/GetKeppa
