I would write something profound but to be honest I have a mental block. The years of riffing guitars, humming bass, and low growls must have gotten to me. Here’s To You, is a conversation with family, friends, and influential people who have shown me what music can do. Hardcore, metal, punk, alternative, etc. has a way of crossing over to one another and so do people’s identity. I believe that (insert music genre here) is a vehicle for self reflection because it’s transformative, lends to escapism at any given moment and transcends time/space.
