I listened to several episodes of Here’s a Thought on a long drive recently and was thoroughly entertained. They’re inspirational, witty, and thoughtful reflections on overthinking and life in general. The short episodes are perfect for when you’re short on time but also for when you have plenty of time and want to listen to several in a row. The topics are relevant to us all, and the podcaster’s voice is appealing and welcoming.

Just when you thought some legislators couldn’t get any more clueless, Jan does a remarkably apt and hilarious job of helping some of them tell the difference between women and cows. To be fair, she gives credit where it is due (really?) and shows the many sides of the issue.

This is a brief, scripted “blog cast” which, as the host says, gives you a break from whatever you’re thinking about too much at the moment. It’s both refreshing and entertaining, and I always come away with a new perspective.
