41. Still Small Voice
Are you listening for the whispers of God. So many times we want to have him come in like a wrecking ball. Right? Loud and some sort of physical thing to know that it is really him! I shared a theme that has been showing up in my life this past month, and it was this past Sunday when a guest speaker was talking in our church, and it was like the ah-ha. moment of what my life has been like this past month. What started with a nudge to go to church, turned into something so much more. I hope this episode encourages you to get away from the distractions, and create that space to listen for him. I am just going to be honest, my dang phone is the worst distraction ever. I pick it up and 2 hours have magically disappeared. My team just did a podcast on social media detox. Worth the listen!! I can't wait to hear what you think of this episode. A quote from the service that spoke to me was... Your faith will lead people out of fear and into faith. Im going to just say AMEN to that one. Ladies, it is time to rise up. We are being called to step into our faith and help others get away from the fear that is consuming our world right now. 40. Give Thanks in Everything
We tend to focus on the bad things and seem to forget to give thanks on the great things. I share my heart in the process of gratitude, and learning even in the hardest seasons to give thanks and praise to God. There are so many verses that tell us about thanksgiving, and how we are called to give praise . To stop being anxious about the things in life, and to remember that even the birds in the sky are taken care of. Friends, I know what it feels like to have $5 in my account for weeks. I know what it feels like to be late on rent money. The feeling sucks, but time and time again, I am reminded that we have to let go of what we can't control. Be thankful for what we have today because we don't know what tomorrow brings. I have spent so much time in paralyzing anxiety and worry because we were not sure how rent would come through. Only to realize I lost so much time in being present with my family, and being thankful for that the had for us. Stop and give thanks. When the pandemic first hit there was a ton of fear, but when I realized I had no control over the situation... I found myself listening to worship music while I would walk around town. Praising and being thankful for the smallest of things. What incredible things have happened during this season? As much as the pandemic has been frustrating, I can't say I want to erase 2020. so many incredible things have happened during this year, and I really believe that a lot of it has come from this season of slowing down. It is all about perspective. Show Notes: IG: @heylaciejaye IG: @herlifeoutloud Revive + Radiate Podcast laciejaye.com --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/herlifeoutloud/support

39. Work With God's Grace Instead of the Grind
Grace Over Grind If you are in business... this book is one you need to read ASAP. It includes a bonus journal, and it is so worth taking the time to read, and really tap into what the Holy Spirit want's you to do in your business. Friends, it is going to look different for everyone. We are each unique, and God has a specific plan for you to do business his way. I promise it is worth it I literally crashed and burned in 5 businesses before I decided to do something different. I love home based businesses, but so many times we see people burning out because they are searching out what every other "successful" person is doing, and they are trying to do it too. These businesses are meant to be a blessing, and I will be the first to tell you, when you start doing it differently, things start to happen in your favor. What is God calling you to do? Take the time to really ask him how he wants you to show up in your business. He is like the greatest business partner of all times! Let him be the CEO and see what happens. I know he has asked me to podcast, blog and work my MIG business. Yes, using social media, but not being consumed by it. He is opening these other platforms up, and it has taken me a minute to get out of the mindset that my business is going to suffer because I am not posting on the GRAM all the time. But I know that when he calls you to do something, listen! I know women who knew they needed to take time off from social media... Where their entire businesses were run, and guess what?? Their businesses did not shut down. God will bless your business when you listen to what he is calling you to do! SHOW NOTES: I always like to remind people to check out your local book store to see if they have the books or can ship them in. We have to support the small businesses. I did link to amazon so you could see what books I am talking about!! Grace Over Grind by Shae Bynes *** My book came with the bonus journal. If you can get the journal.. worth it! 38. Postpartum Depression + Anxiety
I guess this is how we go from surface level to going deep... Sharing my story on postpartum depression, and the day I wanted everything to STOP! The voices inside my head telling me lies, and making me feel so much shame and guilt. I didn't deserve to be here anymore. Everyone else would be better off without me. I want you to know you are not alone. You are not the only one feeling this, and if you need the permission... Go talk to someone. Get the help you need. There is no guilt or shame in going to therapy or getting on the meds you need to balance things out. You are WORTH it! 37. Life After Trauma (PTSD)
I remember going to therapy for the first time after realizing I needed to get help working through a traumatic event with my daughter. I had learned about a therapy called EMDR, and thought even though I wasn't in the military, it might be able to help me. NEWSFLASH.... there are actually a lot of people with PTSD, and it is not just from being in the military.  Both men and women have PTSD from rape, sexual assault, childhood neglect, combat, physical attacks, childbirth and abuse.  PTSD is short for Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, which is a disorder in which a person has difficulty recovering after experiencing or witnessing a terrifying event. One thing with PTSD is that you can have triggers, and that is why we are talking more about it on the podcast today.  If you want to hear our story you can read it HERE and HERE!  I hope you know you are not alone. If something has happened to you please make sure to reach out to someone you trust, and get the help you need. There is no shame in getting help!  National Suicide Hotline: 1-800-273-TALK (8255)   Show Notes  https://instagram.com/heylaciejaye https://instagram.com/herlifeoutloud FG group https://www.facebook.com/groups/herlifeoutloudinsiders FB profile https://www.facebook.com/laciejaye --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/herlifeoutloud/support

36. We Are BACCCKKKK!
What a summer! I knew it was time to take a step away from the podcast to enjoy the summer with my kiddos, and get some clarity on what direction to go with the Her Life Out Loud brand. Action creates clarity, and in this case it was taking action in time with my family. With that being said,  I started having this desire to talk real life with real women, and share real stories. After getting some really hard news about someone close to use committing suicide, I knew it was time to get back to the podcast. It was time to break the ice, and break through the surface level conversations so many of us are having. We were created to live life together, to share stories, break free from the past, and say goodbye to shame. Are you ready to live your life out loud? Let's go make some waves, Her Life Out Loud tribe. 35. It's our Responsibility
Word of the Week We are putting a new spin to WOW! We will be taking most of the podcast sharing about a card we pulled the week before, and then taking a moment to pull a new card to start pondering. Each week I will post the word on on the Her Life Out Loud Instagram page, where I would love to hear your thoughts on the new word. As a community we can encourage and embrace one another as we each have our own views, and own personal revelation on the word. I will share some of the stories on the podcast the following week! Responsibility This is one that really got me thinking, and make the depth of my soul start grasping what it meant. I am excited to share with you how it is our responsibility to live the lives we are called to live, and to share what we have learned so others know they are not alone. It is our responsibility to STAND up, to love one another, and to make the change we want to see in the world. New word to ponder Peace! Wow, what a time to pull the word peace. If you are listening to this podcast at a later time there is a lot going on in the world right now that is causing a lot of division. I can't wait to see what this word brings up for you! Make sure to pop on over to Her Life Out Loud to share so we can start to read what it means to you! Follow us here! 34. Authenticity
You don't have to be the OG! Being authentic means to resemble the original. Someone paves the way for you, and you get to be you! Just because someone else is doing it doesn't mean that you can't do it too. You have your own blueprint. You are not being an IMPOSTER. Follow their footsteps, but bring your fire! When you are authentic to who you are, and you will attract your tribe even if there are other people out there with similar dreams. Step into who you were called to be because other people are waiting for you. Are you ready to embrace who you were created to be??  ______________ Let's Connect!
