Welcome to hello human by me, tokyoterri. I grew up in New York City, and I’ve been expat in Tokyo for decades. Being Black American, a woman, a tool-loving techie, a life long learner, aa singer-songwriter, and a bunch of other things, I’m building a creative practice in the midst of working full time and living single. I want to share my experience as an artist with you so that you can do, or not do, what I did, or didn’t. So this weekly show (publishing on Tokyo Mondays), will have the books, essays, podcasts, courses, movies, people, places and things that help me to learn, to create and to publish.
