I love it
This is an amazing podcast! I absolutely love the humor and the connection I feel when listening to it. It’s a dream of mine to travel and hopefully one day move to japan I’m learning the language now and it’s really nice to have some more insight into the culture. It’s a nice twist to have English and the Japanese language is incorporated together I feel like I’m learning a lot so thank you both for taking the time to make this :)

A Very American Husband
At first I thought that the relationship between him and his wife was relatable, but the more that I listen to it then the more I am surprised that a husband that has lived in Japan for 20 years is so culturally insensitive. But what’s worse is that he hushes 🤫 her like she’s a disobedient child and he corrects her constantly. In case anyone wonders, no wife (or girlfriend, or any woman relation) needs to be talked down to like that. Talk to your wife like you would talk to the President of the United States if he were deserving of the title... err, hopefully with a buttload of respect, especially when it’s heard round the world.
