James and Mariya watch GGO, an anime with a cute pink protagonist. They discuss how the show, though is an anime, seems to target a different audience than most anime, with a plot-line that would be more typical of a male protagonist. The hosts talk about the smart corner cutting involved in the animation of the action shots and smart usage of smoke and cinematography. Mariya talks about the importance of female aggression and healthy competition. The hosts discuss a scene that was blatantly offensive and a missed opportunity for an uplifting interaction.
