Xander, Jazz and Rob are so incredibly great at telling stories and creating this world together. I love the way they bring in the NPCs and create a fantastical world full of drama, suspense, wonder and comedy.

This podcast is so relaxing and silly and gives just the right amount of personal character tension to keep you wondering what will become if these personalities. The background music is a good volume and soothing and changes at the perfect times to add a bit of intensity or lull, which is nice. The system used is a little wonky to me, but that seems more like personal preference since I have more 5e background and this seems definitely more day to day living style play. GM is clever and well prepared, players are quirky and enjoyable! Thanks for the content!

This is a wonderful show. The characters are charming, the setting is fabulous and Xander, Jazz and Rob tell an amazing story together! I can't wait to get into more stories and see where it goes!

Heart Beats is sooo underrated!!! I wish more people knew about this podcast!! It’s quirky, wholesome, fun, and unique compared to other actual play podcasts I’ve heard of. Ryuutama (of which this podcast is a home brew version of) is such a cool concept, with regular townspeople as the protagonists instead of the NPCs, and this podcast really captures its energy. Also, I love learning about the world it’s set in because it’s so detailed! Basically I think you’d probably like it. As of writing this review it is literally 5/5 stars - and that can’t be beat!

So I started listening to this podcast in the evenings to wind down to go to sleep. I listen to it every night now! It’s interesting but also doesn’t have the yelling and sudden loud noises other storytelling/ RP podcasts. So I’d recommend wether you want to listen during the day and dive into the story or if you just need something to help you relax before bed!

I listened to the first four episodes today and I am loving it! Listening to this podcast makes me want to play Stardew Valley. It’s sweet, wholesome, and relaxing. The characters are charming and delightful, and I love the emphasis on collaborative storytelling and role play. Can’t wait to keep listening. <3

This pod is so relaxing, it's like a summer breeze whenever it comes by. Love listening to these two in this crazy chill town, made me pull out my harvest moon and my wii lol. Really dig the whole new intro for each arc, the music is really fun with the show and makes the scenes pop a little more for me which is fun. I really like seeing all the different town people, those dwarves need to build more sky rafts! Keep up the great work, this is a really good pod and I'm having fun listening to it.

I love how wonderful this show is! It feels like an Actual Play version of Stardew Vally!

This podcast is simply a joy to listen to. The characters are delightful and the whole story is basically just good people doing good things with a bit of adventure along the way. There are plenty of great laugh out loud moments, and the entire cast is just super creative. Honestly the whole thing has the same kind of vibe as Stardew Valley—adventure, fantasy, and happyful peacefulness all rolled into one.

This is such a cute podcast with a lot of collaborative storytelling, with minimal dicerolls.

There’s so much to love on Heart Beats. It’s unique in a diverse field of AP podcasts. The editing style and music are fabulous. You’ll love getting to know the various characters Jacque and Charlene come across. This is already shaping up to be a beautiful and meaningful story you won’t want to miss.

Not normally something I would seek out, but a friend recommended it and I am loving it. The characters are funny and interesting, and the world and its history have been fun to explore. I’m really digging this podcast! It’s a nice departure from most of the other high fantasy combat based RPG podcasts out there. Rob’s dry deadpan delivery, Jazz’s everyperson-styled frustration, and Xander’s ability to think on his feet and roll with the punches have been a delight to follow. I can’t believe I eagerly await new episodes about two people moving to a small town, but I can’t wait to see what happens next! But I also suspect a bit of mystery will unfold...so intrigued!

A heartwarming real play podcast following two normal people falling accidentally into fantastic stories. The characters are a joy, the players bring their PCs to life, and the storyteller steps in just enough to give direction. I found myself laughing when I normally wouldn't. Episode 3 & 4 (current episodes at this time) are highlights in the strangeness that I expect the story to go. But everything is so light hearted and fun that it is a change of pace for the general high action or the lovecraftian podcast I listen too.
