Pam Miller has a master’s degree in social work. She spent most of her career in county government.  In Riverside County, Pam worked in both Child Protective and Adult Protective Services. When she left after 22 years, she was over all of the Adult Services Programs.  Pam came to this area as the Director of Employment and Social Services for Yolo County.  After several years, she decided she wanted to try something different and was lucky enough to find Agency on Aging Area 4, where she has been the ED for almost 10 years.  She says it has been exciting to see the agency grow as it expands services to older adults and adds services for people living with disabilities.

Courtney Quinn, Executive Director of Albie Aware Breast Cancer Foundation is a breast cancer survivor and has spent 20 years in the nonprofit sector. Courtney has been in leadership and fundraising roles in San Diego, which included President of Women’s Wine Alliance, Development Manager of Corporate Partnerships for The Old Globe and Board Relations Coordinator for Rady Children’s Hospital Foundation. In 2017, Courtney had a double lumpectomy followed by chemotherapy and radiation treatment. To prevent a recurrence, she receives hormone treatment and has an active lifestyle. Courtney received her Master of Arts in Leadership Studies and Nonprofit Management from the University of San Diego. She received her undergraduate degree from Arizona State University. She is a Certified Nonprofit Professional by the Nonprofit Leadership Alliance.

Ana's Heart 2 Help Those In Need To Rebuild Their Lives
Ana (pronounced like the Frozen character) has been with Volunteers of America for almost 10 years. She has had the opportunity to wear many hats and currently, Ana is the Director of Development. Ana oversees the fundraising efforts and gets to work with a team of real-life superheroes. At the age of 16, she was convinced that her goal in life was to become a missionary, and although she explored that a bit she realized it wasn't what she wanted to do for the rest of her life. VOA gives her the opportunity to still fulfill that goal, but locally, in her community. Its mission is to change individual lives, instill hope and facilitate independence through quality housing, employment, and other related services. Summer manages the Sacramento Walk to End Alzheimer's where she is responsible for the recruitment, coaching and management of volunteers, teams, and community partners. She has worked in development and relationship management for several years, most recently at Seniors First of Placer County. Her focus was on volunteer recruitment, community engagement, fundraising, and managing the Meals on Wheels Groceries program. Previously, Summer worked as a relationship banker at Umpqua Bank, where she created and led their People with Disabilities Committee. Now, she plans to continue her education to obtain a MA in nonprofit management in the near future.
