So helpful!
By far my favorite podcast in this category. Easy to follow, perfect amount to time per episode, great topics. Keep them coming, the world needs more!

So far so good process of healing
I have been on a search for learning to forgive. I know that I need to heal my wounds, but do not know how. I have researched all over the internet and there is no gold star procedure that absolutely works so far. Do I write down my hurts on paper and burn them in a campfire? Do I try EMDR? What do I need to do? Then this podcast came up. I never heard the term #TraumaProcessing. All new to me. I jumped in to step 1 in this podcast. The podcast intro music is great, I like the professional look of the podcast page, but I was uncertain if I liked the first podcast I heard because it seemed a bit scholarly to me. Then I listened to the second step. Again, I don't think I can tell someone how to do the second step, but I loved the ending where Frank does a meditation. It was great the rate of his speech, the pauses, I loved it, in fact after this I am going to rewind to that part. Good work here, I need this & glad I found this broadcast. Thank you

Love this combo!
I have so much respect for this combo of minds. The Body Keeps the Score is such an amazing resource that I already enjoyed previously and Matthias’s TikTok content sparked further insight. So this is a dream duo for me and it is already proving so helpful. I a praying that sharing this podcast will help my family to dig deeper and ask more questions and seek guidance and I always hope for restoration. Thank you gentlemen for this podcast.

Good listen for a trauma survivor
A great podcast. I have not that long ago started doing trauma work. I have 2 adult children and listening to Frank and his son talk about how his Dad’s trauma affected him. It’s given me another healing angle, not just my own healing, but how living with me has affected my children’s lives. Thank you for all the honest and real sharing. Need to get the book!

Trauma healing
Really felt I was meant to come across. I hate my sisters for my mothers death and they swooped in like vultures and there was even a will , I have to try not too think about how much they are the ones that came together and just closed me out it just made me feel so lonely I have a lot of pain and hatred towards them.

The best, new, podcast
An amazing, invaluable resource. I can’t believe it’s free for the listening. Thank you, Frank and Matthias!

Helping so much!🫶🏽
This podcast is life changing for me. The combination of listening/learning from Healing Trauma and journaling is so helpful. I’ve listened to the episodes a few times through and I am noticing significant psychological progression through my personal traumas. Thank you so much, Dr. Frank Anderson and Matthias Barker! I am so grateful for this podcast.

As a retired “trauma” clinician, I am so happy to listen to this podcast. I pretty much read, and practiced, the latest techniques before retiring three yrs ago. I probably loved reading and training as much as I did hands on practice! Most of my colleagues unfortunately weren’t so thrilled to learn and yet we all were frontline practitioners in Veterans Affairs! This podcast makes it all accessible and, possibly, the best part is the trainings advertised! Thank you! I am following along and healing as well!

The best
This is hands down the best podcast I have found that brings education as well as application. I truly feel from Mathias and Frank and authentic desire to see me heal. I appreciate what they each uniquely bring to the table, as someone who is trying to heal from purity culture and the shame and message of “I’m not good enough”, it is soothing to hear their perspectives on faith and trauma.

I’ve been loving these conversation and have connected to both Matthias and Frank who are so candid and vulnerable with one another and the listeners, combined with their true expertise which they deliver so humbly and so understandably. Grateful for their work and this podcast.

So timely and informative
Trauma is such a buzz word these days that it’s almost losing its meaning. I love the breakdown and I look forward to more!

Really enjoyed this conversation. It was very enlightening and helped me identify and understand some things my family member had been experiencing. Highly recommend!

Excited for what is to come!
As a student perusing my LCSW I love this “yes and” perspective presented by Frank Anderson. I am excited to see the fruit of what is to come of this team with the Trauma Institute

This resonates in me
This podcast really hit home. Brought up emotions that I might’ve stuck down for years. One of the keywords that really stuck with me was the word fragile. I constantly remember that being said to me as a child I look forward to additional podcast that address these issues. Thank you for doing this, it’s important work

Disfunction Triggered By Trauma
Needing this, for I know I need to own up to my being responsible for the trauma I have inflicted upon my now grown children. And praying that the scars that afflicted the heart…there is still time and room for healing to take place.

I’m sharing this with everyone!
I am so excited about this podcast! The clear and concise, evidence based discussion is enlightening and easy to understand. It’s a gift to have such qualified and well informed hosts come together to share this information with the world! I will be sharing this podcast with everyone from my sisters to my friends and my own adult children. When we heal ourselves we help heal the collective and this is an incredible resource to do just that!

If you like here someone repeating the same words over and over
He likes the sound of his own voice and within the first 10 minutes he hat said the same things verbatim, and RAMBLES.
I gleaned nothing from this except how he considers himself an expert, and just like any other doctor with an EXPANSIVE ego.
Don’t waste the time on this one.

The powerful healing gift of profound knowledge & language
Language is powerful. Matthias’ brilliant gift for communication gives the human heart the very thing that’s been missing in so many lives. Words matter.
To so succinctly provide here the language therefore the *understanding* of why we feel the way we do is deeply healing. Matthias has a profound gift of giving us the very words we needed but never received—the salve of understanding that is perfect medicine for those thousand paper cuts most of us carry.

This is the podcast I’ve been waiting for
I have actually never listened to a podcast before. I saw a link on The Holistic Psychologist Instagram stories and thought….Im curious. I saw it was only 30 minutes long and I had 30 minutes to listen. Mind blown is an understatement. Letting go of what you were never supposed to be responsible for to leave room for…… Y’all, I want more of this! Longer episodes ~ Thank you for making this first experience one to remember and one I will keep coming back for. I’m the “overly sensitive “ one out of 5 kids. I have 8 autoimmune diseases, diagnosed with bipolar, depression, ADHD etc..
The first thing my therapist said to me after I asked her to fix me was… You’re not broken. You are a whole human who needs healing. C-PTSD on so many levels it’s unreal! I’ve been doing EMDR for 2 years now and with that learning self awareness and new skills~ I am healing from my childhood traumas. Big T’s and the little t’s. I am no longer on any medication for autoimmune diseases and all of my bloodwork is “normal “. I am no longer on any medications for my mental health ~ This podcast makes my heart happy. The perfect tool in my back pocket~ more self awareness, more curiosity more healing. Thank you Thank you Thank you
