What does emotional resilience mean to you? Do you consider yourself resilient? What does resilience even mean? And want to know how can you grow yours?
Join me in this solo episode as we explore emotional resilience together and I help you get a sense of where yours is and where you’d like it to be. Come listen as I explain the 6 key areas that make up the emotional resilience framework we use within Mindful Monkeys™ Ltd and I help you assess yourself against these main elements. Life is lived, not the absence of suffering, but in the midst of it and none of us are immune to some very challenging times that are both unpredictable and, often, unwanted!
I honestly believe we learn the MOST about ourselves during these difficult times and in this episode, I share very personally how I have learned to bounce back from a number of huge life events, including major ill-health and relationship breakups. My wish is that this episode helps you connect to your existing resilience, you know that part that has already helped you overcome many things in your life! AND also gives you a framework that enables you to explore how you can strengthen those resilience muscles. 💪🏻
As always, reach out to me on email at [email protected] or [email protected] if I can help in any way or come find me over on our social media spaces on Facebook and Instagram.

I can’t quite convey how excited I am to bring this particular
episode to you with my friend Dr David Hamilton PhD. David is a writer, columnist, speaker and kindness scientist who has just published his 12th book entitled “The Joy of actually giving a F**k. All about kindness and why we SHOULD care about one another.
In this beautiful conversation we discuss David’s journey as
an author covering subject such as destiny Vs free will, the kindness conundrum, why it takes courage to be kind and how we, as adults need to learn the skill of disagreement to model that for our kids. David’s books offer us the scientific research that can bolsters our beliefs in many ancient wisdoms we know inside – such a beautiful mix of science and spirituality which is my own personal place of JOY.
I have had the pleasure of doing all David’s previous
workshops/courses and he is partially responsible for me being courageous enough to create Mindful Monkeys Ltd and support families in the way that I do now. He even offers me some new research into how the emotional regulation and family work we do within Mindful Monkeys strengthens young people’s DNA and keeps them biologically younger & healthier. How amazing is that! (Adults in Making section on page 100 if you have the book).
Listen in as I ask David a random, unrehearsed and thought
provoking question from the Dairy of CEO Conversation Cards and how David believes finding compassion for our own shortcomings is essential as we explore empathy, compassion and kindness as a society.
I do hope you enjoy this episode as much as I did recording
it. You can find out about David’s courses, books, speaking gigs along with his

Join me on the first, but certainly not last, podcast episode bringing beautiful male energy and perspective to our human experience. In this candid conversation Paul shares his own personal mental health journey from leaving school at 16 and falling into a career unconsciously to now finding
himself an award-winning volunteer at one of the first Andy’s Man Clubs in Edinburgh, mental health first aider, life coach and spiritual healer.
That journey has been less than easy for Paul but he’s now able to share his own perspective on how the feeling of disconnection from himself and the life outside of himself resulted in some very dark moments which he thankfully did not act upon. Now, in a much better place mentally, emotionally, and spiritually, Paul is able to use that experience to support men to be curious about life can hold for them and the importance of self love, self inquiry and self compassion.
Paul talks openly about how his 6ft 2in tough football playing, heavy drinking exterior tried to hide his soft fluffy interior (his words!) and how seeing a video online around the power of self love and life coaching changed the trajectory of his life. The strap line for Andy’s Man Club is #itsoktotalk and we most certainly did that together! I will certainly have Paul back on the show in the future but, for now, have a listen in and perhaps suggest this episode to any menfolk in your life you feel may benefit.
This is SUCH an important discussion – many more to come. ❤️
TW – we do discuss suicide in this episode so be mindful of
our own wellbeing when you listen. Please know you are important in this world and reach out to me, Paul or Andy’s Man Club if you need support.

is always more – more joy, more fulfilment, more adventures just waiting for them.
Stacey is the real deal and has authentically shared her own

“To set your life on fire, seek those who fan the flames –
Rumi” is one of Stacey’s many favourite sayings – so come let us fan those flames for a wee while. ❤️

If you imagine the Healing Together podcast as your gateway to self discovery, this personal and honest solo episode will begin to map out my own personal journey back to ME. Although I’d always dabbled in self development and learning how people operated most of my life, my own real
journey of self discovery began when I became a parent in 2003. Becoming a parent cracked me wide open to the unconscious ways I’d been living my life until then and awakened me to a deeper sense of unrest deep within me.
As I always do, I sought support and became determined to find ways to shift this sense of disconnection I had with the world around me and myself.
In this intimate solo episode, I discuss the concept of
Reparenting, a therapeutic technique that helps you unlearn unhealthy patterns of communication and behaviours formed in your childhood and relate that to my own
life as a woman and mother. I only became aware of this concept about 7 years ago and it has helped me create a framework around the work I’ve actually been doing
from a deep, deep inner calling for the last 21 years.
As always, reach out if I can help with your own reparenting
journey through Lesley Fraser Coaching on Instagram. Link Here: https://www.instagram.com/lesleyfrasercoaching/

Come join me in this very personal episode as I interview my
best friend Linda Fennessey. We met on a training course in 2013 and quickly realised we had a shared desire for meaning and had both left very successful corporate careers to follow our 'inner knowing'.
Linda has been a younger carer, a civil servant, a coach and
now training business owner all underpinned by a passion for uncovering the hidden language of colour.
In this intimate conversation, Linda shares how a question
her dad asked her as a child has led her down a beautiful path of self discovery around our spiritual experience here on earth and also the creation of a gorgeous coaching facilitation tool used within her business, Rainbow
Reflections Training.
Linda has been an incredible friend and we discuss how
having someone or a community in your corner who ‘just get you’ allows you to take risks and access the deepest parts of your psyche. It’s a beautiful and honest conversation around finding friendship in our 40s and I hope you will enjoy it just as much as we did recording it.

Welcome to our latest episode entitled Positively Sober
where we are this conversation with Kirsty Mulcahy, the CEO of SoberBuzz Scotland CIC . Penned as a ‘key influencer in the sober world’ Kirsty shares her own journey to sobriety and how the microblog she started back in 2019 became a Community Interest Company offering much needed support for people who wanted to change their relationship with alcohol.
I didn’t meet Kirsty until this recording and I honestly
could have talked to her for hours but we talked for precisely 44:44! A spiritual sign of strength and resilience!! I share very vulnerably in this episode about my own relationship with alcohol and I actively learn online from Kirsty about how, as we get older, our bodies become less tolerant to the way it process drink.
We also discuss the steps to take if you are sober curious
and want to learn more about your attitude towards drinking alcohol. If you want to change generational patterns around alcohol this is for you. If you are a nightime destress drinker this is for you. A safe space to get curious about how you want to consciously create a different future for yourself.
You can find out more about support from Sober Buzz Scotland in the links below. Reach out and Kirsty and her team will look after you. You are in good hands.

In this episode I am joined by brilliant Dr Charlotte Kemp PhD who has been a scientist within the NHS for 20 years. Tune in to hear Lottie share how she’s used her innate skills to create groundbreaking neonatal resuscitation training for premature babies, lead teams and progress through her career and also how that drive and determination didn’t sit well when covid came knocking.
Lottie identifies as a fixer, a curious soul who wants to
know more and find out why – something I absolutely resonate with. Listen as together we discuss how those traits took her through a very dark time of overwhelm and
overwork into a place of self compassion, love for herself and ability to be fully seen as who she is today!
You’ll also hear Lottie’s advice to her 20 yr old self 🥺
Even though Lottie is recovering from Long Covid, she is now a full qualified Transformational Coach alongside working part-time in NHS.
TW there is discussion of miscarriage in this episode. Please ensure you have the right support around you should you need it - feel free to contact me via my social media channels if you need to. I will respond personally. ❤️

In this episode, Lesley chats with soul and self mastery
guide, Mum of five, lover of the sea, spiritual psychology coach and Human Design guru, Leanne MacDonald. This lady literally exuded positive energy like a light source.
TW: we go deep into the grief of loosing our gorgeous dads over the past few years so if you are feeling at all vulnerable please make sure you have the right support around you. We were both emotional after recording this episode.
Together we discuss how to navigate those tricky times as a
parent and how it has also been a catalyst for change. We explore how to find joy amongst those difficult times and how understanding your Human Design can help you help yourself and your loved ones.
You’ll also hear why Leanne had to be the first interviewee for my podcast and also why she is partially responsible for it’s creation! We may be discussing some big topics together but you’ll also hear a lot of genuine heartfelt shares and laughter.
Enjoy this important episode.

Welcome to this introductory episode of Healing Together with Lesley Fraser. In this episode I am interviewed by my good friend Linda Fennessey without any prior preparation which is a scary thing when you hit record but it did inspire a fun, engaging and heartfelt discussion about the real reason I committed to bringing this show to air and why this podcast may be, indeed, be your Gateway to Personal Discovery. Thank you for being here and thank you for listening.
